I’m a put on lipstick in the morning and I’m done older gal, and lip liners weren’t lasting all day for me, so I decided to try this favorite long-wear lipstick brand in a darker color as my lip liner and was very pleased with the ombré effect. I applied the lighter “Blush On Pink” lipstick (which is highly pigmented) over my entire lip, including where the liner will go. Then I lined my lips with this darker color, and quickly lightly applied the lighter color over all again to blend the lip line a little with the pink, so the liner wasn’t so harsh. It stays all day for me!

Love this lipstick. It stays on so good and is very moisturizing on the lips.

My lips seem really dry, but since it is winter and my hands are really dry too, I don't think it is a side effect of the Lipcolor. Process for application: I take a towel and blot my lips, to ensure they are dry. Then when I pull the applicator out of the bottle, I remove most of the lipcolor by pressing the applicator against the inside of the container as I pull it out. Not much is needed. (If too much color is applied, it dries funny on the lip, and cracks and peels.) I then open my mouth all the way and very gently apply a small amount around the outside edges of my lips as a lip liner, rotating the applicator as needed, but using mostly the tip. I wait about 30 seconds or so before applying that very first, very thin coat, to the rest of the lip area. (Most times I apply a slightly lighter color to the rest of my lips). While leaving my mouth open, I then apply the rest of the makeup to my face. This process allows the lipcolor to fully dry the whole two minutes, and gives me something to do, besides waiting for it to dry, and wondering if the time is up yet. After the Lipcolor is fully dry, I then apply the clear stick. I really like the way the clear stick feels on my lip, better than any chapstick. The lip liner area seems to last all day, and many days when I get up in the morning the lip liner area still has color. The rest of the lip area seems to lighten up, and wear off by about the end of the day. I think if I used more of the clear stick, it would last longer, but I don't. I just apply a cheap lip balm throughout the day as needed. I don't know if the outer edges keep the color better because I do it in a 2-step process, or because they don't have as much exposure to food and water as the rest of my lips. The only time I had an issue with the product was when I applied it too thick. The thicker the product, the darker the color, the more it dries out and cracks.

I bought this product for a school dance performance since my dance teacher advised us to buy this product. this was overall good but it was super dry and wasn't moisturising at all whatsoever. this lipstick dries up really really fast so make sure to apply it quick and if you mess up and get it over your lips make sure to wipe it away fast! it dries pretty quickly and stains your lips for a day. this is a good product for a fast and easy look.

color was not what appeared, looked like a raisin color in fact it was more of a brownish color. :(
