how long dose it last

I understood the question; "dose" is a typo for does, and as everyone knows, there is no such thing as a silly question. I can't believe such a "catty" answers were allowed to remain up. To answer the sincere question from my fellow Amazon shopper, the 22 lb. bag lasts my cat 4-5 months. We keep it in a large tin, and refill a smaller container for pouring. I been purchasing this product for years and never had a mold problem or problem of any kind.

When this gets delivered to my apartment would it be delivered in a big box so nobody knows what it is?

Everytime I have ordered and received Meow Mix cat food, it is always delivered in a big brown box and no one would ever know what was inside. Hope this helps!!

How do you store dry cat food

Get a decent plastic container with a lid that snaps shut. But get one that's a little smaller than the size of the bags you usually buy (unless you use 5 pounds or less). That way it won't get stale from the constant opening and closing. If you DO use large sized bags of kibble, store what doesn't fit as the gentleman said: push as much air out as possible and use a clip to keep the bag shut (so it doesn't open up on its own), then store it in a cool dark place...a basement or closet that's not often used, until it's time to refill. And never pour new fresh kibble on the little bit that's left in the container. Keep a scoop in the container and wait to refill until there's no more than the scoop can hold. Pour the older food into the scoop and the fresh kibble into the plastic bin. Then either use what's in the scoop ASAP or pour the contents on top of the fresh stuff so it gets used first. Is there any good reason to not add a little water ?

It all depends on your cat,if the cat likes it crunchy i wouldn't.You can also add a little wet cat food to make it a little moist.

My cat loves it – great everyday dry food
