I have only been using this product for 2 weeks but I do notice some skin brightening and a more even skin tone. Also the texture of my skin is softer and smoother. I am really happy about that. I was hoping to see some lightening of the dark, sun damaged areas of my face but 2 weeks may be too soon to show improvement there. The hydraulic acid should help with the discoloration. I also have sun damage on my chest and am using the product there as well. Again it may take longer to show improvement and I will continue to use. I really like the smell, it's a very subtle citrus scent. The product feels a bit sticky when you first apply, but once it dries the stickiness is gone. I then apply my moisturizer over the serum. I squirt 2 small pumps, one for my face and one for my neck and chest, morning and evening. I have never used a serum before so I don't have a frame of reference to compare to similar products but my skin does look and feel better using this than not using any serum at all. I really like the fact that there is no unnecessary packaging. The product comes in plastic shrink wrap, no waste on on unnecessary packaging that increases costs. The instructions and ingredients are right on the container. I received this product at a reduced cost in return for my unbiased opinion. I received a discount coupon code to try this product. I like serums to be a little bit more firm, this one is runny. It is more like a liquid. Once applied your skin feels sticky. I applied it at night and when I woke up in the morning my face was more sticky than when I applied it the night before. It did not seem to absorb as other serums that I have tried. I wish it would have penetrated the skin and not live the sticky residue.
