When installed carefully and stretched tight the netting is almost invisible. Great for keeping Herons and leaves out of the pond.

Arrived nice and early ....but to wrong address , good job there was a photo of wrong door manage to track it down .Anyway on to product review.. after an early morning breafast visit to my pond from the local herron , I decided reluctantly I would get a pond net and glad l ordered this one its good quality and covers my pond easily , and works out cheaper than replacing lost fish , would recommend this net to any pond keeper .

Liked - the ease of use, fit for purpose and the provision of pegs which would have secured the netting across the pond if grass was close to the pond. However, paving stones surround my pond and there is no grass near enough to fix the pegs. Fortunately i had some old paving slabs and bricks which worked well to affix the netting. Would highly recommend getting a net considerably bigger than your pond and ensure that you similarly have something heavy on all sides to pin down the net. Very good and seemingly strong netting and does the job so far in deterring the heron.

The media could not be loaded.  As you can see this net is extremely strong ! Barney the Neighbour’s cat found it to be a very comfortable and sturdy hammock while he gazed down at my fish 😂 This netting was stapled to the fence 4 years ago and is still very sturdy indeed.

Stops even more debris entering into the pond as the mesh is finer than my usual Blagdon although food can get caught on top but a quick shake and it falls in. Hope it lasts as well.

Had to quickly find something to protect my goldfish after I saw a seagull eating 3 of them, ordered this on line thankfully it came next day, really easy to put on ,strong enough to be seagull proof , brilliant 👏

This is a great net with the small pitch. Tough enough to endure a full 4-season year including blowing seedlings and leaves off of it with extreme prejudice. Keeps most small things out, if you use a prop in the middle it's easy to keep leaves off. Stout material that doesn't fray or break down in sun, heat, or cold. Just big enough you can get a fish flake feast in the pond through it.I've tried a ton and keep using a new one of these once a year, even had a snapping turtle get suspended in it that I plucked out and transported back down the street to the creek, not a nick in the net. Squirrels run across it at times and it's pretty good about even keeping sneaky frogs out if you can make sure you get every edge. If you have a Koi or Comet pond, this is the ideal size/build to protect it.

We "lost" one of our beloved koi to an unknown predator and immediately purchased this net and stretched over our pond. It appears to have done the trick! :)

Size is great. Purchased next size up and is perfect. Net size is perfect, not to big nor small. Will see how it holds up this winter (northern utah) and then update.

Last fall, we bought the alpinereach pond netting for our pond. We installed pvc poles across the pond and stretched the net over them. It comes with hooks to plant in the earth, they work well. We also added rocks at other areas. The net is nearly invisible and holds the leaves above the water, so the leaves just blow away. The net is made of solid material, we are using this fall for the second year and it is the same as new, I am sure we will have for many years. We were so satisfied with this net, we bought one for the pool and have installed a few weeks ago. It is just as perfert as the one for the pond. I highly recommend the alpine reach leaf netting.
