Best Shot Pet Ultra Wash Shampoo, 12 oz (ZX10012)

I am a professional dog groomer and this is my holy grail product. It is my absolute favorite shampoo and conditioner set. Gets the dogs clean every time - I never need a second bath with this product. Leaves them feeling soft and their skin and coat healthy and refreshed. AND it breaks up matting like nothing else! Seriously this is a game changer! Clients also tell me their dogs are easier to brush in between grooming appointments too.I would also like to say that I’m not sure why this product listing specifies puppies and kittens, as this product is not specifically for young animals. While not specifically formulated as such, it is a very mild formula and safe for use on puppies and kittens, as well as adult animals of all ages. I also find this product safe to use on animals with recurring skin allergies without any irritation.

Love Best Shot. I own a show class Pomeranian with a very thick lush coat and did some research on shampoos as I cannot afford to take him to a groomer's every two weeks. A groomer loved one of their other formulas (the deluxe one with the black label called UltraMAX Pro) and I've been faithfully using that for two years on our little furry guy with excellent results. I brush him only once a week and of course, again on weeks when blow-drying him, but not before washing as recommended with other shampoos. I ran out and couldn't find it locally in time, so picked up this product with Prime. It's almost as good! Not as conditioning, but a much lighter formula and scent too. Only BIG caveat: it says use straight - that is too much! The suds were too thick and it took forever to rinse the product out. The next time, I did as I do with the other shampoo: mix it 1:8 with water and it works just as well, and it will last longer too.

I’ve been using this shampoo on my labradoodle for five years now. Paired with the conditioner and leave in spray for a great combo. I’m very sensitive to fragrance and most dog ‘poos smell way to strongly of floral or candy for me. This stuff is perfect! Do dilute per the label for best results. It cleans beautifully, rinses easily, and helps to loosen up any stray tangles. I like to hike with my dog, and we live in the country, so frequent baths are the norm here.

Im a groomer thats been grooming about 6 years and was looking for a shampoo/conditioner combo that would help me save time with problem coats in the grooming room. I have not tried this shampoo alone by itself yet.. but I tried the "3 step" system with Ultra Wash, Plenish Conditioner and Vitalizing mist. Very happy with the results. I probably wont need to be searching around for more shampoo and conditioning treatments to try. Ive used the combo so far on 3 dogs so far (poodle, llhasa and yorkie) and was happy the mats in their ears brushed right out.. no tangled coats either. Very soft feeling coats. I did not pre-brush before bathing any of the dogs and lightly brushed and combed after was all they needed. The dogs did dry a little faster too. Now I can get the dogs done faster with happier customers :-)

This product requires extra rinsing, and like other consumers say, you must dilute the soap before applying to your pet!Other than that, works out just fine, and will last me several years.

I've used this product in the past which was recommended to me by a groomer. It works great. I was very disappointed in the delivery/packaging by Amazon. It was contained in a plastic bag which was great because the lid was clearly not on tight, and it spilled product all inside the bag. I had to clean up the mess upon arrival. There was so much product in the bag that the sticky label came completely off.

The Ultra Wash Shampoo and Ultra Plenish Conditioner make a wonderful combination! I adopted a Maltese puppy that had become a matted nightmare. Combing was too painful. I ordered the three products including the shampoo, conditioner, and spray. I could not believe how easily the knots combed out and how the entire texture of his hair changed from a dry cotton candy-like mess to soft, fine, and silky. He smells wonderful and sort of minty. I've used the combination about five times now and his coat is growing and looks amazing. Although you can dilute them, I like to use them full strength. He has not had a matt since, but I do comb and brush him daily and mist him down with the spray conditioner. I will continue using these products. Amazon had the best prices, and I'll order the larger, commercial sized bottles next time.

Great shampoo for all breed coats. Gives a deep clean on even the most dirty coats—I put it to the test because I have a senior poodle who likes rolling in chicken poop. 🤣 Has a minty scent that can seem strong when using, but leaves a light scent on the coat once dry. Would definitely purchase again.

We use this on our Old English Sheepdog who has a thick double coat which we keep well groomed. The shampoo seems to separate the top and bottom coat and penetrates right through to the skin. This makes it even easier to brush & comb his coat. It does not lather up too much as some cheap shampoos do and rinses out very easily. Once dried he looks magnificent. No overly strong or synthetic smell - cleans extremely thoroughly but is still mild and gentle enough to not cause any skin irritation. Expensive but worth every penny.
