Inspired by the stunning roof of the Scheepvaartmuseum in Amsterdam, I designed this bracelet constructed with a pattern of evolving round shapes. Depending on the angle you look at it, it will never look the same and you will be fascinated by its changing appearance. This bracelet is constructed by 3D printing, where the object is built up layer on layer from stainless steel, which is then goldplated with a matte finish where its original print lines are visible. This bracelet is an example where new techniques like 3D printing has opened up a world of new design possibilities -this bracelet would be almost impossible to make using traditional jewellery techniques. This 3D printed goldplated bracelet is approx 0.8in high. Currently only size M available (inner diameter 2.5in / 65mm).
