I've had the opportunity to play numerous tambourines, and the black swamp is the most durable and versatile, hands down. Great for all genres of music even though I typically play experimental and studio sessions.Had my tam for 3 years until my bass players amp fell on it and crushed the shell. I called the manufacture and explained what happened and they replaced the shell free of charge!
