Gourmet Tart Cherry Preserves, 11 Ounce All Natural By Maury Island Farms

I have found no better tasting tart cherry preserves, including those at our local farm markets, when I can even find it. This does not spread well as it is full of cherries . But it is perfect for placing some on a dish with an English muffin or thick slice of crusty bread and spooning it onto each bite. My company has also found it very tasty and enjoys eating it just as I mentioned.

Great flavor. Big chunks of cherry. But not that tart for me.

These preserves are exactly what I was looking for. The fruit is densely packed, almost whole, which makes spreading it difficult--but worth the effort. It's best used one cherry at a time with each bite--the flavor is rich and elegant.

This was packed full of cherries. That gave me hope, only to have my hopes dashed: how can so many cherries be completely devoid of flavor? This was entirely too sweet and otherwise tasteless. And, as other mentioned, very thick and hard to spread. I am easy-going with regard to texture - thick or loose is generally fine with me. But this takes thick to a whole new level. It is nearly solid, especially after refrigerating. But even that would be OK if the flavor was good. It is not.(If anyone else likes strongly flavored tart cherry preserves, my favorite, FWIW, is the Tart Cherry Preserves by Food For Thought, a Michigan company using Michigan cherries. Not sure if it is available on amazon as I can buy it locally. They do have a website, too. Not affiliated in any way, just a cherry preserve fanatic always trying new products!)

flavor good. not spreadable

I buy a lot of different brands of cherry preserves and these are the least sweet of all brands. Not a lot of cherry flavor. Kind of blah. The jelly doesn't smooth out over the bread, it just squishes into bits.

I will order from now on. Love the tart and love the presences of lots of cherries! Thank you!

This is probably the closest to my favorite cherry preserves. Not as sour as I prefer but the most dense of any, perhaps too much so. Definitely will buy again
