Cools very well with little to no noise!
Great unit. Really cools my Yaesu FTM 400XD. I use the radio as my base station and it do an excellent job with little to no noise. I would definitely recommend it.

Yaesu SMB-201 Excellent Mobile Radio Base Mount
I now have five of the Yaesu SMB-201 Base Cooling Fan Assembly. I use them not only for my Yaesu mobile radios, but I use them for other makes as well from BT Tech, Anytone, and TYT. Only the Anytone requires drilling one new hole on both sides of the mount otherwise the radios fit perfectly. Having the added coolingfan makes keeping my radios cool is an added bonus.

It’s too loud.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to hold and cool my Yaesu FTM-400. The fan is quite loud and annoying but moves a lot of air. The stand works fine. It is too loud for most radio work. I got mine for $30 less than this one.
