They do help
There is a big difference between the small and medium sizes. I ordered the small for my labrador based on the size chart and couldn't get the middle straps round his ankle. Maybe I just didn't pull to stretch the brace enough to make it work. So I went up a size and they are really too big but we are using them. I think they help. We really needed knee support and I wish this company would figure out how to do what they have done for the ankle at the knee. Custom knee braces are at least $1000 and the ones that have that back end strap don't have great reviews.

Keeps my old dog mobile
I actually like everything with these braces. Our dog tore his ACL. A $8,000 operation is out of the question. So we put one brace and used the straps, on his bad leg, and then we used the other brace, without the metal straps on his good leg, because he didn’t need that leg to go bad. By god if he didn’t start to heal. Not as well as, if he had surgery but well enough for him to walk and play a little again. We now put these on him only when we notice he is sore. So yes, I am very happy, these worked for our dog.

Not what I expected
Does not seem to have a sturdy enough bone in it. My dog hated having it on. I bought because my 9yr old pet became a tripod left amputee and I was hoping to add support to the existing right leg. The brace did not appear to do that. My expectations may have been too high.

Good idea, execution not as good
Sizing not exactly as shown. Quality control a bit lacking, shipped with missed stitching. A bit pricey for the actual construction and materials...Made backwards...hole for joint should not be in the split..Makes proper adjustment difficult and time consuming. Good idea, just not good execution, specially for the price.

Great Fit
It fit perfectly according to the measurements I took. Poor babe was embarred to wear them though so I didn't get any pictures.

Ok, but would not stay in place. Waste of time and money.

Sizing is hit or miss...even with proper measuring
Everything is great on those qualities except for the fact that even after I measured my dog properly according to the instructions, they were a just a bit too small. 🤨
