It’s a bit flimsy

I use this bin to put food waste. The sliding mechanism has a plastic rim. It is super convenient to open the dustbin with your toe using this rim. This is the only reason I feel like a paid a BOMB for a dustbin. So, the one star reduced is for the price. But, I just find this right sized to hold a weeks worth of food waste for a small family of 3. We host guests often and cook everyday!

We have had a Hailo bin for 29years and it finally broke beyond repair so we had no hesitation in replacing it with a some large model. It has been slightly refined and fitted into the cupboard in exactly the same position. Truely an excellent job and we are delighted.

Presque parfait: 1/ une des vis fournies s’est cassée en vissant le cadre… 2/ je n’avais pas vu qu’il existe le même modèle avec une barre qui se visse sur la porte du meuble, pour une ouverture automatique en ouvrant la porte. Si un jour je change, j’irai vers ce type de modèle

Veramente ottimo, semplice da montare, ottima qualità dei materiali. Unica accortezza durante il montaggio mettere, eventualmente, un piccolo spessore tipo una rondella metallica, sotto l'asta centrale a elle (che si collega con il coperchio fisso) nei pressi della vite che fissa la stessa sul pavimento del sotto lavello. In questo modo l'asta tende a flettersi leggermente in avanti, spostando di 1 o 2 mm il coperchio ed evitando che rimanga quella leggera fessura superiore tra coperchio e bidone.
