I gave this item as a gift to someone who had always wanted to own this piece. Their reaction as soon as they saw it was priceless. It was beautiful, the time that went in to providing detail in the wings and clothing were evident. I had researched a few similar pieces and they did not have the amount of detail that this statue has. We were very happy with the purchase.

This statue is so beautiful. The details are exquisite, looking almost hand-sculpted, and the piece actually looks like marble.

This is a very poor copy, and has been altered to suit a modern ideal of the feminine figure. The Greek original has far more detail and nuance in the drapery and in the rendering of the wings. The original figure has a thicker waist and smaller breasts - this version is a sexualized cartoon, by comparison.
