KANEYAMA RAMEN (KYUSHU TONKOTSU) - 12Packs/Box (24 Servings)

Ever since I’ve tried this one, i was hooked. I love all the other brands too just as much. The noodles are nice and thin, perfect for slurping. The soup is incredibly delicious for a powdered soup. The best way to make the soup is to add a little water at a time in case you accidentally make it too watery and the flavor is gone. Go light first with adding water and taste to your liking of how salty you want the soup to be. Because once you add too much water, it basically gets ruined and becomes bland. You can be creative on your ingredients and season it with chili oil. It’s a plus for a kick. The condiments I included were rolled pork porchetta, soft boiled eggs, green onions, a sheet of nori and some chili oil. Perfect!

Delicious tonkatsu flavors, quick & simple, deceptively large quantity! What more could you ask for?Amazon shipping delays due to recent situations forced me to have to wait several days longer but this ramen was worth the wait. First off, the box and individual packages were larger than expected which is good! My first time trying this product was with an entire package (2 bundles of noodle) in one sitting and safe to say I was stuffed.Like many other instant ramen, the order comes with just noodles and seasoning powder (I don't count those tiny carrots and scallions that other instant ramen provide as anything extra). As a cooking enthusiast who doesn't yet have the skills or time to prepare entirely homemade ramen, I actually prefer this as it allows me to flex my limited creative cooking muscles. Try adding different components like sliced pork, fresh scallions, or chili oil to transform this dish. You're welcome :)All in all, my family and I really enjoy eating this ramen. We're halfway through the box but already planning to order more. It might not taste EXACTLY like you're sitting in japan and eating in Osamu Tomita's shop but it does bring you all the good feelings of eating delicious ramen. Can't knock it till you try it.

Couldn’t wait to tear into this! I am a Ramen noodle addict and after reading the reviews on this brand, I could not wait to try it. I ordered the Tonkotsu, it was creamy, rich and the noodles were perfect After cooking thanafter cooking them the recommended 2.5 minutes. I added spring onions, fresh garlic, cayenne pepper and homemade ramen egg. I was really blown away by the flavor, I thought it was a little pricey at $40 for 12 packages, but they were tooth I was really blown away by the flavor, I thought it was a little pricey at $40 for 12 packages, but they were 2 servings per pack. Literally, the noodles are portioned into two servings as well as the flavor packet! Very cool. Will be ordering this again highly recommend!

Great tasting bowl of ramen. It is a bit on the salty side but if you add appropriate toppings it's a great tasting meal. Super quick to prepare and serve, decent price for the amount of servings you get, this isn't top ramen or maruchuan, much higher quality. I spent 8 years in japan and this hits the spot to take care of my ramen cravings. Highly recommend, 4 stars because of the high salt content.

Very nice soup base and noodle. I can simply make (just add pork and vegetables) my own ramen at home!!However, I hope the expiration date can be longer. My package will be expired around 2 months (like the photo shows). I wish it can be longer at least 3 months, because it is hard for me to consume 24 servings in a short time...

I’m no ramen expert, but I do enjoy eating authentic ramen and love eating instant ramen. That being said I bought the Kaneyama brand because I’ve been craving tonkotsu ramen so badly during this quarantine. All I added was a soft-boiled egg and it was really good. Soup has a lot of flavor. I’m sure if I added some protein and scallions, it take take it to another level, but I stuck with a basic ingredient. It’s definitely better than the nongshim shin ramen I’m used to. I will buy this again and add this to my rotation in the pantry.

When I first took the noodles out of the packaging, I'm not gonna lie...I thought 1 wasn't going to be enough but it's actually the perfect portion size and I was pleasantly full! With most Japanese ramen that I've previously had, the soup is usually too salty for me but this wasn't the case with Itsuki Kyushu Tonkatsu ones. The soup is flavorful and good on its own but I like to add in roasted garlic, a soft boiled egg, and scallions into mine - absolutely delicious! Fast and very easy to make too!
