If you enjoy your Nespresso machine, the chances are you'll find yourself drinking more coffee each day than you used to. And if that's the case, then pretty quickly you'll realise you're spending rather a lot each month on your delivery of Nespresso capsules.Eventually, you may decide, like I did, that it's time to explore the world of Nespresso-compatible pods. I started off with the most extreme of alternatives, the crazily cheap Amazon Solimo brand. At the price those retail for, you can't really go wrong, IF you're prepared to sacrifice a little in the way of strength and a fair bit in complexity of flavour.But do you know that feeling when a price point is almost too low? At about 9p per cup, compared with the something-close-to 40p per pod for the Nespresso brand, you start to wonder what you're drinking, or whether you're doing your expensive machine a disservice by running those plastic capsules through it.That's where this Happy Belly range can feel like a great compromise. Rather unexcitedly described on the box as 'cereal' flavour, the Happy Belly Lungo makes a very drinkable, smooth, malty coffee which goes very well with milk and is perfect for a daily cup when you don't need anything too challenging.My only slight issue is that the metal capsules, which could otherwise pretty much pass as Nespresso brand, sometimes have a tendency to get caught in the machine when you try to release them. I've never had a real jam with them - a little gentle force always frees them quickly - but this may be a frustration for some.

Good value well packaged aluminium pods equal to Nespresso pods

Bought at £16.80 they were good value, good taste - drank as espresso often and at that price point i would buy them again and recommend, capsules worked well in machine.

Great taste for the price , having espresso for most time before , compared them there is nothing I would say no for this product, the taste is what I like , even not a strong smell of coffee when served, but quite enjoyed the taste after all . Would continue to have them surly

The coffee, which I’m pleased to say comes in recyclable aluminium pods, is smooth and great for any time of the day.
