Very nice
I hand clean my wheat berries, and this Bronze Chief is so much cleaner than most. I haven't used it yet, but it looks like very great quality, and I should know, I grind lots of other wheats weekly. After I clean my wheat, I put it in a bucket with oxygen absorber packets.

Great purchase
First time buying this online and was a little nervous about shipment of a large, heavy bag, but the packaging was excellent- lots of heavy bubble-wrap around the bag inside and shipping straps around the package box to keep it stable. This is my favorite hard wheat, and Montana always has excellent quality and flavor! Win-win!!

Best wheat for bread
I have baked all of my bread and yeast products with this wheat for years. It is the best wheat available. Your bread will be light and fluffy and will be loved by anyone who will only eat white bread. There is no strong nutty "wheat" taste like you get with red wheat. As it is hard wheat it can make any product with yeast like bread or pizza crust. I have used it for cakes and cookies when I was out of soft wheat and they were wonderful.

Makes a great tasting wheat flour for sourdough bread
I've been a fan of Wheat Montana Prairie Gold flour for years. When I purchased a home flour mill getting the berries to grind my own flour as needed seemed like a great idea! We split it up into 10 lb portions and sealed it up in mylar bags so we can use ad needed! It certainly higher cost than you could get if you lived closer to the source but still a good value.

Quality, delicious, high on protein
I have used wheat Montana products for years. They are higher in protein, and flavorful.Prarie Gold bakes up lighter than most whole wheats , and makes great tortillas!
