Very pleased with this vacuum cleaner
I bought this vacuum cleaner as a gift for my mum a couple of weeks ago and I can say it has totally lived up to my expectations. The most important thing is that it cleans all sorts of flooring - tiles, wooden floor and carpets. I was impressed by the fact that it turns on a stronger suction mode on its own when it goes on the carpet. However, it is still very quiet and works delicately. The unboxing and set up was easy and enjoyable for me. It comes with a charging station, a wall plug and a detailed user manual which makes it a lot easier for someone like me who deals with this kind of device for the first time. The device can be set through the Bagotte app very quickly. It also comes with a spare set of brushes and a filter inside the box which I think is great because it saves you some expenses.I also enjoy the Bagotte app a lot because you can customise the cleaning process according to your preferences; set timers and see a live map of the area that has already been cleaned. The robot itself has a very stylish design , the top side is made of glass which gives it an elegant look, the rest is made of plastic but it looks like a high quality one. The maintenance is easy as well - the life of the brushes and the filter is shown on the app so you don’t have to worry about not knowing when change them. As soon as the dust bin is full, you should only take it out, empty it and rinse it under water. When it is completely dry, you just put it back in and it’s ready to clean again.Overall, I am very excited for our first vacuum cleaner as it is a great help for us! This one is very stylish, powerful and quiet and I consider it a great and enjoyable investment. Highly recommend it.

Great Little Robot!
I cannot say enough good things about the Bagotte Robot Vacuum Cleaner. This little guy has been a game-changer in our home!First of all, it is incredibly efficient and thorough in its cleaning. It navigates through our entire house, picking up dirt, dust, and pet hair with ease. Our floors have never looked cleaner, and it even gets into tight corners and under furniture that I struggle to reach with a traditional vacuum. The Bagotte Robot Vacuum is also surprisingly quiet, which is a huge plus for us as we have a baby at home. It doesn't disrupt her naps or our daily activities, and we can even run it at night without any disturbances. One of my favorite features is the scheduling option. I can set it to clean at specific times or on certain days, making it effortless to maintain a clean home. It also returns to its docking station automatically when it's done cleaning or when the battery is low, so I don't have to worry about it getting stuck somewhere. The remote control and smartphone app are incredibly user-friendly, allowing me to customize cleaning settings and monitor its progress from anywhere in the house. It even alerts me when the dustbin needs to be emptied, which is a great reminder.Overall, the Bagotte Robot Vacuum Cleaner has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, convenience, and ease of use. It's a great investment for anyone looking to simplify their cleaning routine and keep their home spotless. I highly recommend it!

Hopefully the only review you need
Bagotte BG800Im going to tell you what's good and bad, but also how to battle through the pairing process optimally (important for Alexa users!). I'll start with a summary for those who just want the quick version. For the price, it's good. It lasts about 56mins on high suction (I expect this may deteriorate over time, as all batteries do), then eventuallyfinds its way back to charge. I have only tested on hard floors and a couple of bath mats, but the clean is pretty good and I'm happy with the performance, for the price. Points that could be better are I would have liked it to remember it's maps so you could deploy to a particular place, but I think only the top level iRobot Roombas do that. Also it only has one corner brush. Now the detailed version...First off, its a fairly straightforward product. It maps areas as it goes, but it will forget that map if paused and begin again from wherever it is. You may ask what the point of the map is at all. I think it does help a lot actually, because the terrain it builds in that map tells it where it may have missed spots of yet unexplored space. This means when it's exhausted a room, it heads out to the next left or right turn it didnt try somewhere else. This means it is very thorough and methodical. It does bump into things it can't see well, like dark or narrow objects, but not very hard. So far it hasn't got totally lost; although it had to do a little drive around to find the charging base, when the battery became low.I would recommend suction staying on high. Low is ok for light dust, but if there are any larger bits then these may not get picked up unless on high. Of course high reduces operation time to about an hour. If you want an effective clean make sure you clear areas before starting it off. It wastes alot of time negotiating complicated terrain, by bumping and turning until it understands the shape of an obstruction. This is pretty much what all of the more cost effective units do.PAIRING! Hopefully this bit will save you a few hours of anger and frustration! This is a challenging point and where the majority of bad reviews come from, but the reality is it's not just Bagotte that use this pairing procedure. Many do. It took me several hours and I nearly gave up! From the box you can use the supplied remote control (like a TV remote), but if you want to use your phone or start the robot from something like Alexa, you MUST pair with your WiFi.First off, DO NOT just go ahead with the app that is suggested (Bagotte's App). It's not really their app and they use their own authentication layer on top of another app called "Smart Life". If you don't already have a device using one of these Smart Life inherited apps, go straight to that one! They all have the same interface so it's easy to spot. I already had an Igenix air conditioning unit and had their version of the Smart Life app registered, so I actually just used the "Igenix" App for this hoover, in order to keep things in one place. This "keeping in one place" is crucial, because your alexa account can only pair up with one Smart Life account. This means that having multiple of these 3rd party editions of the Smart Life app ruins your ability to use them together on one system.Once you've decided which app you are going to use you can use it to pair with WiFi. If you have a newer router that supports WiFi AC, such as the BT Home Hubs, you need to go into your router settings via web browser and change your "mode". These Smart Life devices do not support 5GHz WiFi, but simply turning off 5GHz or splitting SSID between 5 and 2.4GHz doesn't work. Your router will still keep more modern pairing protocols that these things don't work with. The BT Home Hub has 3 modes. By default it's on 1, and for this to pair, it needs to be mode 2 (temporarily). Once that's done, you can follow the pairing procedure in the app. If paired successfully, you can return your router to mode 1 and all will be well! Next you can add the Smart Life ability to your Alexa devices and link up your devices based on the name you gave it (e.g., Alexa, start "my robot"). Not much else is supported than this.Unless you can afford to get a Roomba i7, get ready to become familiar with your router's admin page!Bottom line, I would recommend and it's decent value for money at £250 (especially if Amazon keep the £50 discount on this product).
