I would have givin 5 stars but I dislike how it threads into the radio
Ordered 2, no issues with either one right out of the package. Signal clarity at further distance has increased as I had hoped. I would have givin 5 stars but I dislike how it threads into the radio. Looks cheesy, would be better if it was rubber at the end like the factory "rubber duckey" antenna. Also on one of the base's where the magnet is, was a small piece of plastic that was not trimmed off after the molding process at the factory. Easy to trim flush with a small blade, but had I not looked at it before hand, it wouldn't have held onto the roof very well. So check your magnet base for a flush surface.

Cheap
Plugged into my UV-5R and the cheap metal that goes into the handset broke right off.Will try to get my money back or a replacement. A whole 10 mins of useI had to use electrical tape to hold it in.
