Sturdy, strong, easy to install and adjust. I use these regularly for large/heavy fine art installations, and they are a perfect solution for oversized objects that need to be leveled. Anyone who has ever tried to hang a large mirror or artwork with a cleat or by other means will know how tricky it can be to get something level on the first try. Even if it is level, it may need adjustments depending on visual inconsistencies in the wall, floor, or ceiling. These make it much easier, since adjustments can be made to either side by lengthening or shortening the screws. I have used a pair of these to hold objects up to approx 100lbs, and they have never failed.I have recently switched to Prime-Line's hangers from another brand because their packaging is more reliable. Hillman makes a version of this hanger, but the small parts, especially the little nuts, are regularly lost in transit due to that company's poor and insufficient packaging. Prime-Line's hangers come fully assembled, in packages that do not open in transit, so you will be much less likely to have any loss of necessary parts. These are also half the price of the other brand, which is a substantial difference when purchased in large quantities.

Used 4 of these to hang 2 mirrors, each weighing about 23 lb. Maybe overkill, but I wanted a reliable installation. They are simple and effective. I made sure all "D" brackets were the same heights on the mirrors by repositioning 2 of them because I wanted the hangers all at the same height on the wall. Set the lengths at about midway and secured them to the wall in a few minutes (after spending a lot of time checking measurements). Naturally the mirrors were perfectly level and and equal height with no adjustment needed. But I'm glad I used these anyway - they are sturdy and do their job well.

While you still need to measure where you nail your holes, this piece of hardware is a godsend in hanging larger pictures and mirrors straight. For some reason they are very hard to find - not available at my local Home Depot, Lowes, or Walmart - but they are definitely worth using and keeping a couple of extra on hand. I do wish that they worked with, or that a version came with screws and anchors rather than just nails.

I can't find these locally. Thank goodness Amazon had them! This is a HANGER ASSEMBLY. You hammer one end into the wall while the bottom end is hanging down from the first piece by a screw. The bottom piece has a hook that goes in the holder on the mirror. One of these assemblies go on each side of the mirror, this is why it comes in a package of 2. Once you've got your mirror or picture hung, if it's not quite even, you simple slip a screw driver behind the mirror and adjust the hook end up or down. I was introduced to these hooks by a glass company who specialized in beautiful mirrors. They are fantastic.

These are perfect when you need to align two or more photos. However, be aware that the wire on the back of the picture will need to be low enough so this hanger, taller than a simple hook hanger, does not show above the frame. Also, because of the geometry of these, your pictures will lean away from the wall at the top. If you know both of these things going in, the hanging process will go better.

It is really hard to hang adjacent frames. These picture hangers made it a piece of cake! Not only was I able to get each frame perfectly level... I also was able to make the top of each frame match that of all of the others. Well worth the price. Super happy with the end result and the ease of installation and adjustment.

These are great picture or mirror hangers! I have previously used this style of hanger for hanging large heavy framed art and mirrors as they eliminate the inevitible need to adjust a hanger (and sometimes several times) to acheive a level frame. Theses hangers are also very helpful if you are hanging pairs or mulitple pictures and want to acheive a level line between pictures. The huge advantatge to these hangers is the approx 1/4" up or down adjustment that is done using a small screwdriver. All us OCD guys will love this. BTW, I only use one on each picture.

Great hanger but the nails were missing making it more of a project than it had to be as I had to buy what I assumed to be the proper length for my project.Would be great if you would send me the nails for the remaining hanger because I'm afraid to assume the proper size for the large mirror I would like to hang.Will update to 5 stars if I receive the missing parts.

In our case we were mounting a large, metal-framed mirror. Last-minute adjustments are a huge bonus, although don't count on being able to do it while things are hanging. Solid hardware for absurdly heavy art.
