In the past I bought a magnetic vent mount for my iPhone 6 Plus, and the other brand cost me about $12 for only one mount and the mount was a slight bit smaller than these ones. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 7 Plus, and decided to try this one out so I could have an all black magnetic vent mount for my new phone. These vent mounts magnets are not very strong at all, if I hit a speed bump or a dip in the road a little too hard my phone just falls. On top of not having a very magnetic surface, the shipping took almost a month to arrive. I would not recommend buying these, just splurge for the $12 ones instead.

This magnetic air vent car mount is easily favorite accessory purchase of the year thus far. Prior to discovering the availability of magnetic air vent cell phone mounts, I was using a spring-loaded air vent cell phone mount. The hassle that I had to go through to load and unload the iPhone from the spring-loaded air vent mount was ridiculous. Sometimes the entire mount would pop off from the air vent when I was trying to dismount my phone. No more. With the magnetic car mount, I placed the thin metal sheet that came with this product between the back of my cell phone and the leather case that I already had on my cell phone and have had no mount/dismount problems ever since. Essentially visible, you won't even notice that you have a magnet between your case and your phone - unless you use a clear case or no case at all (for which there is still an adhesive magnet included for you). It has never been easier (or fun!) to mount and dismount a cell phone from my car and for the less than $5 price I paid this is without a doubt one of the most reliable, helpful, and high-quality car/cell phone accessories I have ever purchased. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to be able to easily and seamlessly mount and dismount their cell phone on their car air vent.

Spend a little more from something from a US seller. This item took over 1 month to arrive. The product was loose inside the packaging envelope (no product packaging whatsoever) no manufacturer names or labels on the product.The mount itself is pretty cheap and sad looking. And no tilting adjustments like others have. I bought this for my wife, I already have one in my car and love it (from a different listing). The magnets it comes are acceptable, but not very strong like other manufacturers.Your phone will fly off the mount when you make a turn at greater than 7 mph. Cheap magnets are to blame. Spend a little more $ on a better version for superior results.

I have had so many issues with this product. The magnets work great, but the clip for the vent does not. It keeps popping out of the vent when I'm driving sending my phone flying. It also flew out so violently it almost smashed the screen. Would not recommend.

This works great in my car. I would recommend for anyone who has vents that can be rotated 180 degrees only. It would not work well in a car with standard vents. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because the magnet could stand to be just a little stronger. My case has a soft rubber case that is topped with a 2nd hard plastic case and I have to remove the hard plastic case to use it. Not a huge, deal but does take some time.

I am changing my initial review after actual use.I doubt anyone will see this because it is negative. But to keep people from wasting their money, it should be shown posted.I have bought several of these in the above 5 dollar range and they are great, so I figured these would be fine as well, but....I just received these. The biggest problem is one of the magnets is not strong enough to hold the lighest phone. My iPhone 7 just falls right off. Like I said, I have several branded ones and they work like a champ. Can't get the phone apart from them sometimes. But I bought 2 of these for back up and or to use in my wife's car and one is worthless, and the other is strong enough, but just barely.I may not ask for a refund, I mean it's only a couple of bucks and don’t want the hassle of packaging up to return… ALSO, each comes with 2 metal plates. Of the 4 plates, one was bent and the other was scratched up. That could not have happened in transport as they were well packaged. It had to be put in the package that way. Picture included.Short version, buy one of the 5 dollar ones. It will be well worth the extra couple of bucks.

This really works! I use it every day. I'm buying a second one to go in our family's other car, so there is always a place to pop my cell phone. I use GPS all the time while driving and this makes it so safe and easy. The magnet really holds. I placed my metal disc between my phone case and my actual phone and it still holds fairly well. If you have a really thick or heavy-duty phone case, you may want to place on the outside of your case. My case is slim and I have no problems with it.

I have the metal plate behind a clear cover on an iPhone 6 plus. The magnetic holder did not feel secure. I believe that my phone will fall off with a sharp turn. Not taking the chance. Returning it soon.Updates: The seller reached out to me. Offered me a few suggestions. Unfortunately, the iPhone 6s Plus proved too heavy a phone to establish a secure connection through a case.
