Doesn't pull/push much air, but may work in closet-size or smaller area.
Very small and fan draws very little air, but it does have a battery and continues to run after dark. I would only get this if you are using it in a closet-sized, or smaller, area. I have this mounted on the 8' x 10' storage shed in my backyard and I'm not sure if it is really pulling much hot air from inside.UPDATE - 6 August 2017: Fan stopped working in June. I had this installed for about 9 months and solar panel received 10+ hours of direct sun each day, but fan stopped turning even in direct sunlight.

Perfect for our cat room
We use this mounted to a board in a 7x5 old linen closet room in our old farmhouse we've converted into a space to keep the cat litter boxes four our three inside cats. Things you should know are 1. This is not a huge air mover. You can barely feel the air it is moving. But it works WONDERS for venting the room from cat box smells and hot air. I recommend it definitely for this type of use.

Not high volume, but works as advertised and overnight
This unit works as advertised. It is not a large volume air mover by any means but it's not advertised that way either. It's easy to change from exhaust to intake. It's being used to push air into a two car garage to help cool it and it works all night on its battery. It pushes in enough cool air to cool the garage by about 9 degrees overnight. (Without it, the garage cooled by about 4 degrees). I turn in off in the morning, otherwise it would be just pulling in hot air during the day. .

Does what it claims to do.
It was easy to install and does what I intended it to do which was to vent cat litter odor from a small room. It doesn't move a lot of air and when a cloudy day follows the night the battery doesn't get charged fully but for the price it is a bargain. It works most of the time and you can barely hear it run. I recommend it for small spaces.

Bought in 2013, still going strong
Bought this in 2013. Still going strong! Moves very little air, but I knew that when i bought it. The only maintenence I've done is a wet rag to the solar panel and fan blades once a year.

Less than a year of production.
Haven't had this product for even a year (9 months) and it does not work. Solar powered and in direct sunlight should power and it doesn't. Bad product. Would not purchase again.

Very weak as a fan

Great for my storage shed
Its been several weeks and the unit is still going strong. I bought it to keep the florida heat and moisture down in my 8x8 wood shed and it is very effective. It has dropped the temp between 5 to 10 degrees!
