Kiss of Death-A Tribute to Kiss

Every song is a faithful rendition of the originals. A little too faithful. I was hoping for a little more glammy, trashy approach to these songs, maybe in the arrangements, but definitely in the guitar solos. Make those songs your own, you know? Steve Summers' voice still sounds great, though. All in all, a good recording, just a little too close to the originals.

3 stars, simply good to average. I’m a huge fan of PBF’s debut album, and think it’s one of the greatest glam metal albums of all time, but this covers album, despite the subject being my all time favorite band (KISS), leaves me cold mostly. The playing is competent enough, it’s just that the delivery on most of these tracks seem either really forced or super uninspired. Like these guys could play these songs in their sleep and there’s no real fire or excitement about them playing them. IMO, KISS songs are tough to pull off and be convincing, even though they’re simple rock songs mostly. There’s just a vibe to KISS music that’s really kind of difficult to capture well, and I don’t think it’s captured here. For completists only, in my opinion.

My original Album arrived Warped like it enough that I exchanged it rather than Returning for a Refund. Great Album if you like KISS Tributes.

This Guys could be the replacements of kiss, since they already started to dress two clowns to look like Peter and Ace .... Why not replace the whole band, they play well and can sing too..good album

This is not pretty boy floyd singing over kiss played music,Mr. I know my tones and feedback and its not ace, bruce ,tommy or vinnie. Its all pbf and its musically perfect, the vocals are on the sleeze rock side,but it works.

Can't stop playing this cd. Great selection of songs. Would like to know Kristy's guitar/amp setup for these songs. Best part of this disc is how they sing "I STOLED your Love". Gotta love it!

Pretty much a greatest hits album for KISS with different vocals.

Disco correcto de versiones de Kiss, edición correcta. Pretty Boy floyd no necesitaba hacer un disco unicamente de hits de Kiss, aún así soy fan de las dos Bandas

Se nota que está hecho por una banda profesional de rock.El resultado es bueno aunque podían haber hecho alguna variación de los temas y no ceñirse tanto a los originales.
