Flying The Bell 206 JetRanger: A Training Manual For Pilots

Enjoyed this book as a new 206 pilot. It's really an expanded flight manual with photos. Was expecting some more practical flying and operating tips - there are a few around the starting but not much elsewhere. Anyway still good value I think. Note that there does appear to be an error in the Weight and Balance section where it refers to C of G moving AFT with fuel burn. I understand that C of G moves forward with fuel burn. The author may be able to comment and confirm.

I am a low hour fixed wing pilot transitioning to the Jet Ranger and I've learned a lot from this book. It covers the most basic aspects of the Jet Ranger through emergency procedures. Well written and a treasure trove of information with tons of pictures to help you understand the material. A must have for any pilot considering a Jet Ranger helo transition. A bit pricey but it was worth it to me.

Enthält die Basics vom Anlassen bis zum Abstellen; Flugmanöver werden leider nicht so behandelt. Danach ist man echt fit fürs Fliegen und hat schon gute Ahnung von den Instrumenten und technischen Zusammenhängen. Sehr gut.
