They are an unusual size. Don’t think you can just go to the hardware store and pick up any stainless steel screws. These are a slightly different size and a different thread. I tried metric and standard and neither ones held it together as well as these. And I would say the price is a little cheaper than the hardware store.

What is there exciting to write about Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Screws, these where purchased to secure a 24X12 Tuf-Tite Septic Tank Riser, 24X6 Tuf-Tite Septic Tank Riser and TUF-Tite 24" Heavy Duty Flat Lid purchased together in April 2016. The screws are holding up perfectly after several months in the hot, rainy, salt laden weather of central Florida coast and I would certainly buy them again and suggest them to others.

These are better than the screws that come with the septic adapter rings and lids.

Bought a house with a septic tank. "Dirty" side cover had no screws & water side had wrong screws. Smelled pretty bad near it in July... these screws actually snug the covers down tightly... no more awful smell!

Arrived faster than expected, and in new condition. Unfortunately I had to return as they were the wrong size for my use case.
