Monsieur RAVIN's expertise is again displayed in these days trends ... good taste & the right connections & contacts too achieve & compile wordly tunes ... his WAY & STYLE of blending & mixing is what prooves him so distinguished .In this particular volume the firt 6 tites are clearly rooted to his oriental origin , with SITAR spiced tunes ... as an early homage to SIR RAVI SHANKAR's departure ... r.i.p. ... and some cool hispac-latin GOTAN PROJECT inspired pieces .... BUT .... from the middle to end ... the journey is pure master RAVIN djaing in a clearly manner to catch up with western colleges such as TIESTO or GUETTA ... a very smart move ... to add interst to this sixth volume of now a classic collection : Spirit of BUDDHA BAR .

I am a big fan of all genres of music especially music from around the world. I recommend this CD

I have collected just about everything that DJ Ravin and the George V record label has put out on the market and own the complete collection of Siddharta-Spirit of Buddha Bar. That being said....this music (althrough a great mix by Ravin) should not be considered part of the Siddharta genre. In my opinion it should be considered under a dance mix for most of the cd. Makes me wonder if Ravin is recreating the music for Siddharta.

Another good album from an excellent DJ on a good label.As much as I am a fan of the box set format George V have been using for years, I don't find it suitable for a single disk and feel that they should be using a digipack.

This album is a single CD but comes packaged in a box which gives the appearance of a double.This is not a chill-out album. Best taken with a little poison and listened to with sufficient decibels. Sounds like early dance/euphoric type music with of course, an eastern theme throughout. Olde school beats and not too heart pounding. Nice production and sounds good out the Hi-Fi. All round very good. You are gonna like it.

Beautiful!! Absolutely love it! So relaxing but not like most boring chill out stuff. Even the kids like it. Great for when I wake up grumpy lol
