Set temp seems to hold within 4 or 5 degrees. Set at 2 below zero for the low setting goes up to 2 degrees above zero. My orig thermostat would go to -19 to 8+ . Then just stopped altogether. We jumped thermostat and took turns plugging in and out when the orig thermostat failed. So far seems fine. Consistent temperatures and seems to operate fine. Fit and plug in same as OEM.

It doesn't work. The products are frozen. It works as a freezer thermostat. The refrigerator thermostat should operate between 0 and 10 degrees Celsius.

My Frigidaire 5 year old freezer started having very wide temperature swings with food starting to thaw and then freezing. I actually put a new freezer in my shopping cart but wanted to do some testing before investing $1,000. I purchased a freezer monitor/alarm and discovered the temp was swinging from -20 to +20. It seemed to me the problem was the thermostat and this unit fixed the problem. The graph below from the monitor I installed shows the difference before and after the 54 degree spike while I was installing the new thermostat. I will be purchasing another one of these just in case. This $13 investment saved me $1,000.

It works and everything fits except the dial doesn't stay on like the old one did.

Fixed my Frigidaire upright freezer that has been running continuously for years. Now it shuts off normally and maintains zero degrees. Easy DIY repair. Highly recommended buy!
