Wonderful Book that Covers it All
Squeaky Clean Keto isn’t the type of book I’d typically purchase. It contains two meal plans, a 5 day plan and a 30 day plan.It also contains a shopping list and pantry supply list for each week of the plan. There are pictures for each meal of the week with a hyperlink to the recipe the first time a picture appears. These were not why I initially purchased this book.I purchased the book because the recipes contain no milk products, wheat or nuts. The idea is that by taking a break from these foods you lower your inflammation levels. The book also keeps your daily net carbs below 20 grams so if you need to stay low for medical reasons it works.I know for a fact that milk products make my joints extremely painful. Wheat doesn’t agree with my intestines. Nuts? Well they don’t do anything I’ve noticed other than make me want to eat more nuts. And more nuts. And more nuts.I’ve been searching for keto recipes that skip the milk products and allow you to adhere to a lower daily carb level. This book does both.My other concern was the ease with which the recipes can be prepared. It turns out they are incredibly simple to prepare and extremely tasty.I decided to really put the book to the test and follow the plan. After week one I can say that I wasn’t hungry. I enjoyed my meals, felt satiated and going by my body’s inflammatory signals my inflammation level is lower. I don’t know if I lost weight. It wasn’t a goal so I didn’t check.The recipes use whole foods and a few condiments. There are a few ingredients some might not recognize but they’re optional. We have all enjoyed every single recipe I prepared from this book. Mellissa uses seeds to replace nut flour and nut butter. I find it interesting that while I want to overeat nuts (not binge but eat a larger portion than I should) seeds don’t impact me that way at all. I previously never took the time to experience them totally separate from one another.Mellissa also tells you how long the leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator or if and for how long they can be frozen. There are also really common sense and handy prep and shopping tips. This book covers it all.With all that said I’ll just needlessly add that I highly recommend it.

Healthy, Tasty, Easy
I bought the Kindle version as i wanted to give it a test ride. The last 5 years i have been trying and making her recipes that she provides freely on her website.Nothing is boring or old hat, she gives a fresh twist on old favorites. That takes some doing, as we are so used to sugar and flour! She is ingenious and makes keto and clean eating exciting. Her version of the meals are nutritious and filling and portions are worked out exactly to the last ounce, coaching you to stay within limits.Meals are pleasing to the eye!BUT: the biggest plus is shopping lists, what to prep and making your life much easier.She did all the thinking!This book is to be commended to new cooks and experienced all the same.Cannot praise her more !Buying the spiral copy next.1/7/22This woman is amazing! She is down to earth and EVERYTHING she publishes is tasty and full of flavor. All the notes and detail she gives to make sure you succeed, makes you want to test and make more of her recipes.Hubby went away for a week and I did the 5-day soup diet. My jaw hit the floor when I lost 10 lbs!!! To my amazement, I kept it off, without really trying. That made me think that nutrition (without thinking of it) plays a big role, as well as the fact that you eat “attractive” food , without being hungry.Starting the egg fast asap and then 30 days of squeaky clean keto.I am 70 years old and so sick of diets (mom had me on all sorts of restrictions since 11 years old) and weary of all the empty promises of diets and plans.Melissa is a breath of fresh air, who knows the struggle, but somehow her energy and love for life, seeps through and inspire even an old woman like me!Thank you!

R U IN KETO PLATEAU? THIS BOOK WILL GET YOU OUT OF PLATEAU!
Omg ... where do I start? So I’ve been doing keto for a year now, on and off. When I really stuck to it, I lost about 17 pounds in 5 to 6 months. I then plateaued and barely lost weight after that. I gained some weight back after going on and off keto, which was expected.This time I was really determined to lose even more weight and get past the plateau cycle. I decided to buy this cookbook just for the sake of making more wholesome meals and great recipes. I have collected several keto cookbooks so wanted to add another to my collection. This book also has great reviews from other “ketonians” and mentioned they broke their plateau with this cookbook.So I decided why not try it? Little did I know that this book had more than just recipes- but a guide - a 30 day challenge to try Squeaky Clean Keto. I didn’t anticipate to do this at all, but decided , why not? I’m already going to use the recipes, so why not right?Today, 36 days in, I weighed myself and have lost 8 pounds since day 1. I didn’t weigh myself during the challenge like she mentioned but did take measurements throughout the challenge. I’ve lost 1.5” on my waist and thighs, 1” on my hips! I couldn’t believe how much weight I lost! I didn’t loose that much weight in a short amount of time doing regular keto. Not only that, I don’t feel as bloated and heavy and feel amazing!For those of you who have hit plateau, BUY THIS , I PROMISE you won’t regret! I didn’t stick to the meal plan but I did stick to the guidelines of squeaky clean keto. First three days was tough, coffee with no erythirol or heavy cream was horrible but now I’m used to and enjoy drinking my non sweetened coffee with coconut milk. All the recipes taste great! I’ve made at least 15 recipes, zucchini fries, everything sesame wings and crispy lemon chicken are just some of my favorites. Also, super easy to make all the recipes. I plan on making kofta kabob and zucchini fritters this weekend.I’m actually going to continue this challenge a little longer to see how much more weight I can loose. I don’t write reviews , rarely, so if you’re reading this - take my advice - it is money well spent. Everyone else on here can attest how great this book is!Thank you Melissa Sevigny!

Love!!! I’ve been keto for over 4 years and am in maintenance. Needed some new recipes. At the beginning of this book it has a four week plan. I’m in the middle of my fourth week now and have lost an additional 10 pounds. It is dairy free, nut free, sweetener, free. I find all the recipes to be really really good so far.

This is the book you need
If you are looking for easy, delicious and super clean meal ideas this is the book you need. The recipes and meal plans are very simple, without a bunch of crazy ingredients that you wouldn’t normally have in your pantry (there of course might be few, depending on your cooking style).The author does a superb job explaining the different types of keto and makes going “squeaky clean” very straightforward, with a 4 week meal plan that includes all macro information, meaning less tracking! There is a ton of information besides recipes, and each recipe is beautifully photographed. I have both of the author’s books and this new one is completely different than the first. If you want to be squeaky clean, even to challenge yourself for just 30 days, buy this book.

Best cookbook ever!
Every recipe I’ve tried so far has been delicious! You don’t even have to be keto to be using these recipes. The book is beautifully laid out and has features that most cookbooks don’t. For example the front and back cover have flaps so when you find a recipe that you want you’ve got something to insert so you don’t lose your place. At the back of the book the recipes are laid out in picture form, So if you think oh I want chicken tonight just flip to the back and you can see all the different pictures of the chicken recipes and the page number that they’re on. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic book, Beautifully photographed and the side notes are funny AND super helpful. She thought of everything when writing this. I followed the SCK for four weeks and I felt amazing!!!
