FootJoyMen's Sneaker Golf Shoes

I wear a size 13 shoe and my golf shoes of the last 2 years (Adidas) were standard width, not wide. The way they fit, especially on my left foot, was OK but not truly "comfortable." There were 2 ways to go: either size up to a 14 or try a wide width and I chose to go to a wide. I searched the available selections online at the various golf stores who send me spam emails almost daily but their selection of 13 W was almost nonexistent except for the really high end ($200 plus) shoes which were mostly spikeless. From experience, I wanted soft spikes so I checked Amazon and found these FJs. They were not outrageously expensive and I've had some FJs that I wore out over some years of wear that were very comfortable. So, I bought these and I'm quite happy with them. I've only worn them for 1 round but they provide excellent fit and comfort. One thing to note, I did replace the insoles with more quality aftermarket units, something I do with any athletic sneaker or golf shoe to provide a better arch support. They're also EXTREMELY light weight which, in the Florida heat, is another big plus. They're stable hitting any club and give good traction on anything from hardpan to wet grass and they look good, too. So, these will be my gamers for the foreseeable future and I'm well satisfied. As always, YMMV.

Great looking golf shoe! Full leather, roomy fit. Consider ordering 1/2 size smaller. I wear a 12 in all shoes. I originally ordered 12, but they were 1/2 size too big. Replaced with 11-1/2, and they are perfect. Also, I have a wide foot. I read other comments not to order the wide version as these are plenty wide in the standard. This is correct. I like that these have replaceable spikes. I won't buy 'spikeless' golf shoes anymore. As soon as the tread wears out, the shoes are worthless. With replaceable spikes, you can always refresh the traction like new ones.

I'm a FootJoy guy with 90%+ of my golf shoes being that brand. These however were a little disappointing. No issues with the construction but the size was off and they make a noise when I am walking. I bought the same size I have gotten in every other pair of FootJoys I have owned but these are looser on my feet with a slight feeling of my feet sliding inside the shoes. Not a significant problem now that it's cold and I'm wearing thicker socks but may be an issue in warmer weather. The right shoe often makes a clicking or snapping sound when I take a step. Not a functional problem but an irritation.
