For a Schumi Fan that "never wants to forget"
Christopher Hilton does full justice to Schumacher's dominant career by providing an illustrative and authoritative analysis of each of his 250 races before retirement. Each chapter describes a year and the races featured in chronological order with a race report, quotes from Schumacher and all important milestones and statistics of his unbeatable career. The reader is given the opportunity to understand the particular significance of these records against the evolving landscape of F1 - rule changes and younger opposition to name a few. Together, these aspects highlight why Schumacher is irreplaceable and the greatest F1 driver of all time. Perhaps the only thing lacking from this book is a picture of the man's signature podium jump.Ultimately, Schumacher did what no one else could - he changed the face of Formula 1, ideas about fitness and the manner in which teams operated and were constructed. These are some of the many features that distinguish him from any other F1 driver today. Hilton shows some understanding of these features in the way that he describes him. Too many books describe Schumacher as a man with a ruthless, win-at-all-costs attitude; Hilton does not. Instead he focuses on highlighting Michael's sheer talent and skill.Overall, F1 is not what it used to be any more. This book gives us the perfect insight into what real competitive wheel-to-wheel racing looked like in the hands of a genius. Illustrated with some 340 photographs, the book captures most of the important moments from some of the greatest days F1 has witnessed, from Schumacher's astonishing debut at Spa 1991, to his dignified and emotional farewell in Brazil 2006.Here is a book about Michael Schumacher that will make you reminisce about what F1 used to be and what sheer talent and performance looks like. There will never be another like him. Here is a book that will help you 'never to forget'!A must have for any Schumi fan but more importantly a must have for any F1 fan, for without one the other could not exist!

brilliant
My dad loved receiving this book for father's day. He loves F1 and I remember as a little girl sitting watching it with him. He already had a book on Michael Schumacher but it was more about him as a person and didn't really go into the racing side of things so my dad said this is brilliant to finally have a book that does. Also very quick delivery thank you so much.

Keep Fighting Michael
Love this book. The book has all the race-by-race details and statistics with colour pictures of his racing career, starting from his 1st race in Spa 1991 to Brazil 2006(until 1st retirement). Schumi indeed is the greatest F1 driver of all times. If you are a die hard Schumi fan, grab this one!
