Easy for children to understand

Elizabeth George is a great Bible study author. She helps you dig in to see what the Scripture really says, and asks great questions to make you think about your own life. She also challenges you to live out and apply the Book of James to everyday life. The homework may seem a little repetitious in some of the questions, but it does help to emphasize a central truth or point. The homework does not take a long time which is great for women who are on the go, or who don't have a lot of time to devote to doing the lessons (it also helps that the Scripture portions are included in each lesson so you can make notes by the Scriptures or do the lessons without having to use your Bible). I would really recommend this study, and others by Elizabeth George.

A wonderful Bible study!

Elizabeth George really knows how to pose questions after each chapter that makes you really think about your own walk with God!It’s convicting in a good way as we may not be aware of certain sins we commit, and her studies has a biblical way of drawing it out! Great study especially for new Christians in the Faith. I love John MacArthurs teachings as he does not hold back on biblical teaching and very few Pastors do! Most only care about money and rather feed goats than sheep!

The book of James is key for a woman growing in the godliness and grace of the Lord. The book helps woman to examine themselves through various aspects of our walk and challenges us to live a way that pleases the Lord daily.

This is a great devotional that I look forward to! Lots of truth.

I am using this book for a ladies’ bible study. We like its pace, not rushing us through the book of James, which is one of the most challenging of the New Testament epistles. Lots of relevant questions, information, and discussion points. One of the best studies I’ve ever done.
