6in1 Repair Opening Pry Tools Screwdriver Kit Set for iPhone SE / 6s / 6s Plus / 6/6 Plus / 5S / 5 / 4S / 4 / 3G / iPod Touch

I bought this to do minor repairs on my old iPhone. It does what its supposed to do.

I lost my extra set of ios penta-tools so I got this one to replace my old iphone 5s battery (I already had a spare).The tips are magnetized, so it makes it easy to remove and replace the screws.The tools are small so I tend to lose them easily. They aren’t amazingly great and awesome, but if you just do repairs on your own devices (maybe the occasional friend request), then this set is good enough.For commercial purposes, this set will get you started but you might want to consider more comfortable/adequate and permanent tools. Comfortable/Adequate tools help reduce the risk or injury to your hand when used for prolonged periods of time.The plastic is a bit rough on some of these, but you can cut it down with a utility knife and smooth it out if you consider it absolutely necessary, otherwise it’s no big deal (to me).I’ll probably be able to use these to replace my ipad and iphone 6+ screens as well, but the plastic on the prying tools may not last beyond that... maybe...the suction cup is strong enough, but still be careful if it’s your first time pulling out an old screen.For a quick fix, these tools work just as expected. They are now in my repair toolbox. Not sure if they work on some android phones, but I’m sure they could.Same as all my other reviews, my opinion and observation have not been influenced by the seller or manufacturer in any way and I base my comments on actual use and experience with this and related products.

I got this to change the screen on an ipod it worked great did its job

Huge time and effort saver for getting screen off iPhone! My daughter's iPhone 5s screen began messing up, so I went to YouTube for ideas on DIY repair since I'm not buying her a new phone or really wanting to pay for repair. I found a video that walked you through removing the screen and adjusting a couple of wires. I did this once before purchasing this kit and it was a huge pain not having the right tools. I managed to put it back together (much easier than taking apart), but the screen was still having the same issue. I remembered I had an old iPhone 5s that was no longer being used and thought maybe I could switch out the screens, but I didn't want to do it again without the right tools so I purchased this. Huge difference when you have the right tools!!! Much quicker, much less effort - worth the few dollars and couple days wait to receive - AND switching the phone screens worked! I will say the suction cup wasn't as helpful as the YouTube videos made it appear; the guitar pick looking tools were the most help at removing the screen. I've used those little wedge tools for other purposes as well - handy little tool set to have!

I was a bit worried after reading through all the review for this product, but at the price, it was worth the risk. The package took about a week and a half to arrive in Texas. All the items were in a small plastic bag and nicely packaged to make sure the screwdrivers didn't penetrate the packaging. I am not sure what all the complaints were getting at, the screw driver fit the bottom screw on the iphone (along with the rest) perfectly fine. I was able to fully disassemble my iphone and put it back together when complete.While this is not going to compare to the professional tools that are built with higher quality material for longer lasting jobs, it is hands down 100% worth the money. You really can't beat <$2 for a tool kit. I doubt I will need these again in the foreseeable future but it saved me more then $50 to go to a shop and get my phone fixed.

I purchased this set after my 3GS volume button stopped working. I didn't want to spend too much, and seeing as I already own a great micro-precision screwdriver set I really only purchased this for the plastic suction cup and plastic pry tools.PROS- Plastic tools worked just fine- Cheap- Works for 3GS- I don't know about everyone else, but this is currently shipping with the hex screwdriver as promised.CONS- Screwdrivers are junkOVERALLFor the 3GS this works absolutely fine, I was able to take apart my phone without scratching the outside and the plastic tools have all stayed in one piece. Due to the lack of quality of the screwdrivers, this is going down as a 4 star product, luckily I already had a decent set.

We ordered this product on 12/1/12 with standard shipping which was fine at the time. The glass wasnt that bad at the time. Product was finally delivered on 12/12/12. Didnt start the project untill the following day and discovered that the Phillpes screwdriver was missing so we had to abort the project. Contacted Amazon on 12/15/12 and was told the would contact the manufacturer and take care of it. Of course after the fact I should have told Amazon to just send me a new one its only $4.10 plus shipping. So we waited for over 5 business days taking into account the busy Xmas season. So I personally emailed the manufacturer on 12/27/12. Thats 12 days after contact with Amazon...Ridiculous RIGHT!!!. So we get an a email from them the following day that states "Thanks for your mail,and really sorry for the inconvenience caused,our apologies,in this case,how about we resend a new kit to you? wish your understanding,any question please feel free to contact mehave a good dayBest regardsJACKSo we wait another week and still nothing so I send off another email asking for a tracking number and if they had sent it yet. and they send me another email that states "Thanks for your mail and your understanding,since i did know if you preferred a refund or replacement,so i have not sent out yet,and i will send out the item today,any question please feel free to contact mehave a good dayBest regardsJackWTF!!! .....is it just me? Why the hell didnt they send it. It's been over a month since I sent it. Very dissappointed in Amazon and this company for losey service now I cant even use my phone because this has taken so long and the glass has now fallen out. Low quality plastic, pry tool plastic comes off bit by bit. Other than the philip screw, the star shaped screws are too big and will not fit your iPhone's screw. Do not buy this.

The minimalist tool kit, everything you need. Works great

Great set of micro tools for working with phones and other electronics. I was able to replace my broken screen with these. If you are at all handy and don't want to pay a tech to repair your electronics these tools will do the job
