Did not work for me
This projector, did not work at all for me. It snagged all my film, even tearing them in half. I think this is not a good quality projector, compared to my old home projector that I had previously. Also, the light was not bright and made my films hard to see.

Feeds old splices without problem
Great old unit from Vintage Kentucky that was everything I wanted. Only negative was that feeding film had/has an issue when the cover is on. Leave the cover off, and feeds 100% of the time. Maybe something on inside of cover deflects film from feed, but for a unit probably 45 yrs old, who cares? .....simple to put cover back after film feeds. My old Kodak died 10-15 yrs ago and all I had was a low-priced projector that really had a problem with splices....but never mind since I didn’t really look at films. Recently, I needed to convert to digital. BIG bucks to do commercially, but project-and-record does the job well enough. I explained the situation to the folk at Vintage Kentucky and they suggested this model. Works great....!

Project Does Not Work
The product is defective. Film does not properly feed through the project. When I removed the backing I found film (not mine) that was stuck in the projector. I removed all of the film I could find that was stuck, but film still did not feed properly. Not sure how to rated something that does not work. I feel like I was scammed.
