Acqua Colonia Intense Wakening Woods Of Scandinavia by Muelhens for Unisex - 5.7 oz EDC Spray

For those who boohoo the longevity of this scent, take note: it is an eau de cologne! It is designed to disappate after a couple of hours and then be reapplied or layered with an eau de Parfum for longevity. I absolutely love the bright, almost sharp hit of pink pepper that makes a bold entrance, only to be tapered by the juicy sweetness of grapefruit. It's lovely on it's own but when paired with a long lasting Parfum... It's phenomenal! I am an avid fan of the Arabic perfume houses (you'll find high quality scents for affordable prices, not to mention dupes for popular expensive scents.) One that I purchased recently was Lattafa Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst and while I REALLY appreciate the longevity of the perfume, I felt that it was missing a bit of brightness in the top notes. I layered the Acqua Colonia Pink Pepper & Grapefruit over the Lattafa Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst and WOW! The Acqua Colonia eau de cologne truly helped to bring the pink pepper notes of the Lattafa eau de Parfum to the forefront and helped carry that bright spiciness along throughout the dry down. I have purchased several different variations of the Acqua Colonia colognes because they truly give you more bang for your buck! Whether you opt to wear them on their own as a light scent or layer them to enhance your longer wearing perfumes, you really can't go wrong.

Did not expect the blast of freshness it gave me. Seems to have an early Fall vibe then all of a sudden it hits Spring and Summer. Not overpowering but stays around for a while. I detect pine, basil, lavendar, grapefruit and light spices. More complex than you think, awesome scent.

Love the fragrance. My only complaint would be that it doesn't last as long as I would like.

I was expecting something with a fresh scent of grapefruit, but I was wrong. It starts with a combination of faint grapefruit and spices and after it settles down it changes to a faint fragrance of spice and smoke. Not too much projection or strength so it makes it perfect for those who do not want to offend other people's olfactory sense. It does not last too long on your skin, maybe 4 to 5 hours from application to disappearance.

I got compliments from folks that commonly don't. Strong initially, it mellowed to a refreshing northern forest scent.

Versatile eau da cologne. Much lighter than a perfume. It goes on with a slight nose of alcohol that evaporates almost immediately. A fresh squeezed grapefruit lingers as the top note with a creamy pink peppercorn base. I compare this to two much more expensive perfumes, Guerlain & Jo Malone, which like the 4711 Acqua Colonias, are perfect for mixing, matching and layering. This one is fab layered with vanilla scents, the orange basil is decadent layered with patchouli or chocolate based perfumes or dust a light oriental perfume like Diptique Dosan or Jo Malone Earl Gray & Cuc with the 4711 lemon for a more complex scent. Wear alone for a simple, clean & fresh feel . Great buy, especially for the size.

The smell is not bad, but it's not really an earthy (grass or forest) smell. It's more of a luxury fresh smell. Both Creed and Tom Ford have something similar. So it's more of a fancy daytime on the yacht smell as apposed to a lovable practical work cologne. I will rarely use this cologne

This cologne is outstanding and unique its name is long but it nails the scent it smells just like the woods on a cold crisp morning , but if you are expecting spiced up pinesol this is not for you, this is light , refreshing and really well done. Longevity is pretty good the scent mellows after about 2 hours into a really nice fresh dry down

I ordered this a week ago. It arrived this morning. Kudos to Apple Shipping. It ships from New York, so that’s pretty fast. This was a blind buy. I’m very happy with it. It’s a Fougère, and a green one at that. The hint of pine is there, but not as boldly out front like it is in Pino Sylvestre. It reminds me of Ralph Lauren’s Polo, but with a lot more herbal undertones. Although classified as an Eau de cologne, it smells more like an Eau de toilette in terms of projection. It’s a keeper. Considering the fact it’s sold in 170ml bottle, the price is decent compared to similar fragrances.

Dopo molte peripezie per problemi di spedizione, sono riuscito a ricevere questa colonia che mi aveva molto interessato leggendo le recensioni su Amazon, mediamente positive. Mai vista prima e impossibile trovarla in negozi della mia città. Non sono un esperto, ma la profumazione mi sembra molto particolare e fresca con sentori di "bosco" e, pur affievolendosi come credo sia normale, persiste fino a sera, cosa che ritengo notevole considerando che è una colonia e non un profumo. Sono veramente soddisfatto, anche per il prezzo per una bottiglia di 170 ml e ne consiglio senz'altro l'acquisto. Complimenti ad Amazon che è sempre puntuale e affidabile.
