For my 17 year old terrier who was having trouble walking because of hip and spine issues, these have made a huge difference. They just wrap around the hock but having these on has let her walk again although slowly ;) Before her feet would slowly slide off to the side (think Bambi) or toward her front legs as her leg muscles were so weak. These help hold her upright and while she walks a little stiffly she now cruises around the house on her own. The best part is that after a month of wearing these a couple of times a day and being up and walking more frequently I think she is rebuilding her leg muscles! Even without the braces now she is up and walking freely in the house and yard. We do put them on her a few times a day to increase the support which gives her the confidence to walk. Win-win. ***** The one thing you HAVE to be careful of is that since they have to be snug to provide needed support, they can begin to rub the thin skin on the leg and could cause bad sores. As soon as we started to see the pink skin and there was no fur on the leg in that area, we began applying coconut oil several times a day and at bedtime. We also have decided to use a soft piece of cotton fabric (think old tee shirt) under the brace so that it reduces the abrasion of the brace sitting directly on the skin. Definitely worth the money but check the size carefully. We ordered XS and S since our dog was in between sizes. The XS is tight but the correct size I guess. The S was approximately 3 times bigger than the XS so the increments between sizes does not seem to make sense. Use the sizing chart for sure!!! Luckily with Amazon you can return the other pair if you purchase 2 to get the right size :) Customer service from Neoally was quick and helpful.

These helped my pug walk but it’s important to watch friction rub on heels of paws. The will become raw. Paws need to breath. These are strong Velcro which can make it tough to remove when you want to take them off. Even though the Velcro is strong your dog will come back with one missing.

Straps were way too short. Had to return them.

The media could not be loaded. Just received the rear leg hock brace for my 16 year old Persian. She has a difficult time mostly on the tile flooring with her hind legs spreading out. I have been searching for more than a year and nothing worked until I received these. I just put them on her and she acted as though they had always been there. Wasn’t scared and they were ez pz to put on. So happy she can walk now with the help of the braces. She weighs 9.5 pounds, purchased a small and they are adjustable! And they fit perfectly! Going to show my vet these! Highly recommend these. They are for cats and dogs. They work on my cat!

So I went according to measurements but wow, the XS is way too small for my cat that I got it for. I'll save it because I do own smaller, petite cats, but yeah...I don't know what to get for my boy that really needs foot/ankle support. If the small is only slightly larger, idk if that would work. I thought it was more like a sleeve that had velcro adjustments but it's just literally a thin pad with a hole in it and two skinny strips of velcro that can barely reach around, but also one piece of velcro has a big tag that extends almost the entire length of it. Impossible to put on a cat. I would love to try again but I think I'll just look for a sleeve type thing instead for my boy.

Have a 16 yr old, 6 lb Chihuahua whose back legs were starting to give out on him. First couple times it was a struggle to get them on and he walked funny. But now after a week of putting them on he stands still so I can adjust them and now he is running around likes he's a young pup! Great product and support for my old boy!

my dog was limping on his right leg , I couldn't feel nothing broken , he did not cry or react when I touched his right leg , so I bought this Brace set , in a few days he no longer needed the brace and his leg is all better now , the velcro straps holds on tight and brace stayed in place on his leg , I would buy them again if needed to. but at this point the brace is still in good shape and can reuse it in the future if needed

I gave them a 4 stars because I think for a dog it would work well. Bought them for my geriatric cat (19), he is long hair so it is challenging to put them on (Velcro are short and getting caught in his fur) and cats are not the greatest obedient compared to a dog so putting them on can be a challenge some days. I mesure like they say and got a small. It seems to somewhat help his walking, he appears to not use is entire hocks but only a part of them. I wish it was longer, the small is short, if I would went longer it would have not fit him. It says it is for dog and cats but maybe better for dogs, I am unsure. I really love that it comes in pairs. I looked at other brands and they come individually but like the company says these injuries are often in both legs just not one.

Don’t waste your money they don’t work and they don’t stay on what a waste of money it seems. I do a lot of that on Amazon with substandard Products.
