I am 5’4 and these were down to my feet. I returned them for that reason.

Yes, these pants do have stretch and they are true to size they are slightly clingy but, I have like them.

Q: Im 5 ft 8 in. 200 lbs. What is the best size?

I’m the same height and similar in weight. I ordered an XL. I will warn you that they are definitely way longer than a crop.

No... they are not cool weather wear the pants are some what thin they aren't she as thin as leggings but it's not a heavy linen material either the have a slight stretch I ordered them in the winter time and I dd wear with boots and a cardagin but I live in Georgia our weather is finicky
