The product appears to be well constructed and solid plastic. I purchased this as I find I have a lot of skin on my feet and heels that I can scratch off after taking showers. I had hoped that this would ease in that process, but it does not have enough power. It does seem to work OK on already peeling/flaking skin, but of you press too hard it will stop all together. Not sure if I would purchase it again but it's good for the price. For what it's worth, I did get a discount for purchasing the product.

I've only had the Foot File for about a week. I've used it twice and have no complaints. The true test will come in the summer to see how well it alleviates my cracked heels, so I've given it four stars instead of five simply because I haven't had it long enough. But for now, it's easy to use and clean, painless, seems to be doing its job. The manual does say a roller will last a "few sessions". I'm hoping for longer as I'm just using it in a small area. I haven't looked into replacement rollers but it does come with a spare.

does not work as well as I thought it would. I wore out the batteries before I got my feet done. Very disappointed with product.

This tool is great, what I love most is that it won't let you hurt yourself or take off too much callous. It will automatically stop if you push too hard and that is a great safety feature. Easy to hold and maneuver and comes with two wheels for an extended life. A soft velvety bag is included to hold all the parts safely as well. It is easy to clean and easy to retrieve on a regular basis to assist with now well manicured feet. The price is better than most others I have seen and well worth the price for the value.

I tried this immediately when I got it. I work retail, so I am on my feet over 40 hours a week, so I do have calluses that are pretty rough. I applied some OPI softening lotion and went to work. The file works so great on the feet. It immediately starting taking off the dry skin from the bottom. I have used this every day since. My feet are so much softer and smoother. It does come with a replacement file, and is easy to hold while using.
