Microfiber Towel for Travel, Beach, Bath, Gym, Camping - XL Extra Large but Compact, Antibacterial and Quick Dry with Small Carry Pouch (Gray, 60 x 30 Inches)

It takes some getting used to compared to traditional cotton towels, but these towels are a great replacement for traditional towels. It works best to blot dry rather then rub. We use these towels for our daily use at home to replace the thick cotton towels which took forever to dry in the dryer. They can start to smell a bit funny after a week, but we usually wash our towels weekly so it's not really a problem and we make sure to air dry them well between uses. The instructions says to wash with other microfiber products only... but who has an entire load of microfiber?... we just wash with our normal clothing, blankets covered with cat hair, etc and it's been fine. We air-dry the towels, so not sure how the dryer would affect them. But the towels dry so quickly and are soft to the touch after they air-dry (unlike our previous cotton towels which would become crunchy and rough), so we haven't bothered using the dryer. Might as well save the energy! Super light-weight and was great for travel. Even used it as a blanket on a recent flight and it was very compact and fit in my backpack easily.

This is one of the best purchases I made this year. I do a lot of traveling for work and leisure, and packing a towel is always something I either forget or just loathe because of how much space it can take up. I bought the XL version of this towel, and I think it is easily the best way to go. It lives up to the hype of being ultra-packable and quick drying. It doesn't just dry out quickly, but it dries you off quickly. I went backpacking in Europe this summer with friends and they were all pretty envious of this thing. My one criticism is that it has started to fray at one of the corners, but it has little bearing on this review because I've put this thing through the ringer. There might be other more recognizable brands selling these towels, but Raqpak does a fine job with quality and performance for a low price.

Absolutely love them - I have three - amazing absorbance and gentle on the skin, dries very quick..Takes little space in your luggage when traveling or going to the beach and swimming pool ...I am amazed that some bad reviews are about the fabric being too thin...this is the greatest quality, and is doing a better job than thick ones. Perfect also if your skin is sensitive or after sunbathing. I would definitely recommend it.

I absolutely love this towel!Short story of how I came to purchase this towel: I have naturally curly hair, and a while back, I read an article recommending using a mibrofiber hair towel to dry your hair versus a cotton-based towel because it will dry your hair more efficiently without sucking out all the moisture and causing frizz. So I tried one and loved it. Then, I started to realize if I dry my face off after showering with this towel, my skin didn't feel dry or rough or like I needed to use moisturizer ASAP (as it usually does). In addition, for months, I've been trying different razors to shave my legs with because when I shave in the shower and dry off after, my legs feel a similar feeling... DRY, in need of moisturizing lotion immediately - and I kept thinking it was the razors! But then it dawned on me: it's not the razor, it's the cotton-based towels I've been using. And I have many kinds, from many brands, at price ranges. So in hopes of fixing this issue, I purchased one of these towels.Totally solved the problem(s)! I will admit, when I received the towel in the mail, I was a little deterred by the fact that it's very thin when I'm so use to large, plush bath towels - but I sure am glad I didn't decide to return it and actually tried it instead. So far, I have zero CONs about this towel, but here are the PROs:1. This towel DOES NOT DRY MY SKIN out! It is not rough, nor does it leave my skin feeling like I haven't moisturized it in ages.2. It dries my body MUCH more efficiently than a cotton towel! I was not expecting nor had I even thought of this, but this towel truly absorbs water off my skin the first time.3. The towel is light, meaning I can use my own towel in places I normally wouldn't have before (I've never brought my own towels when I stay in hotels, travel, or shower at a gym that offers towels there) because it's very convenient to pack!4. In addition to the towel being light before use, it doesn't become heavy after using it like a traditional cotton towel. It rings out much more easily so (at least that I've noticed) it doesn't drip out when hung after use and it's easy to pack back into a gym bag without weighing your bag down.I 100% recommend these towels! I'm about to purchase more of them.

Son uses this at the hockey rink after his shower, so it travels with him daily. He loves that it's big, but doesn't take up too much room. I love that it doesn't come home sopping wet and stinky like the old terrycloth towel he had.

Disappointed. I thought the microfiber would do a good job of drying quickly and avoiding moldy-funky smells. I was wrong. I'm better off with my old crappy cotton towel.

I bought this for my teen to use on his trip to Costa Rica. This worked amazingly well. He traveled his entire trip and the humidity was high. This towel could easily be washed and would dry very quickly. It was also easy for him to fit in his travel backpack. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Took this with me to Indonesia for 2 years and it worked like charm, super light when traveling in airplanes and kept me dry!

Great towels. Use mine for the gym, doesn't take up much room in the gym bag, they dry you really quick and dry out quickly. Good thing is they don't smell even after a couple of uses before washing. I also take them when I'm away as they don't take up the room in any suitcase. Would highly recommend

Light weight, compact and easy to use. Soft feel and excellent absorption. I love the colours (I bought two). Definitely recommended as part of camping because it saved me space and weight! They're even easier to brush the sand off. I will never take our stupid big towels again. I am buying more for my family because the sceptics pinched mine, cheeky blighters!

Was surprised when they came how thin they were and wondered if they would be absorbent .However I would describe that they work like blotting paper where water is concernedThey work, fold nearly away and are perfect for packing in a suitcase, camping or motorhoming.They dry very quickly when hung up and no need to spread out to dryFor me, I would have preferred them a bit thicker as I miss the feel of a cotton towel but will use themIn our motorhome.

perfect for swimming .. cuts down the amount to be carried (great for school swimming) and is contained in its own net bag.. dries well.. a really practical approach!

Received this towel on saturday, I am very impressed it is huge! I have bought it for Glastonbury Festival because it states it's in a small carry pocket and it's a light towel. Completely as described very light and soft :)

For what it is, it is good quality and does the job. Its the texture of suede. I was expecting more of a microfibre towelling like my hair drying turban which is amazing and snuggly feeling too.

Used this for the first time today and was amazed how quickly it dried me by just patting across my skin. Tempted to never buy a regular towel again. I bought the large size to wrap around myself after a shower and it's a good size.

Fairly short fibre so not quite as effective as I wanted but good, long lasting material all the same.

Wife very happy with this, nice and compact for when she goes swimming during her lunchtimes
