CravenSpeedGemini Phone Mount for RAM 1500 | 2013-2018 | Phone and Device Mount

I was skeptical about this mount at first. Wasn't crazy about having another magnetic mount, but knew I could change out the ball to a standard size with a clamp type mount if I wanted to. I wish it moved off to the right another inch or so. This way when in landscape mode the phone isn't hidden by the steering wheel, but the magnetic mount is strong, and allows you to offset it some, and still doesn't rotate even with a charger attached. The reviews saying it's too weak and bounces, have it wrong. Its not the arm that bounces over bumps, it's the the instrument cluster that causes the bouncing (2 sheet metal screws going into plastic). There's just no way to keep it 100% sturdy. Mine was sturdy for a while, but then it started bouncing around over heavy potholes. Tightened up the 2 screws a bit and it improved significantly. So far, even with the some negatives, I still give it 5 stars, especially when you compare the price to some of the other systems that are almost triple the price.

Extremely easy to install. A T20 and Phillips bit/screwdrivers are all you need to install this mount. Placement of my phone once mounted is great in my line of sight while in the driver’s seat, but not where my phone is creating a blind spot. Highly recommend this mount to anyone looking for a solid mount for their Ram truck. I have a 2017 Ram Rebel that I mounted my CravenSpeed Gemini Phone Mount in.

It was a great idea but my phone always vibrates, which I thought I would be able to handle but it’s really bad. and there is times where us moves side to side. I did tighten the screw on the back but it always comes lose. Recently my phone has been falling out of the magnet. If they fix the problems it would be worth the buy. But if they don’t not really worth it. Honestly i was thinking about returning it.

Very nice mount with a strong magnet. I have a 2012 Ram 3500 and bought this knowing the holes would not match because no one makes something like this for the early 4th gen Rams. I drilled a new hole for the second screw location and used the included hardware and spacers to install it

As others have stated, it it well built except for the fact that the magnet won't hold ANY phone unless it looks exactly like a paper clip. No additional magnets were provided or any instructions, just the mount and screws for Ram dash mounting. Customer service is limited to an email or chat which they will respond to in 1 business day. I didn't wait that long and am returning it. Caveat Emptor

It is good and well made, the problem is -like many reviewers posted- the vibration. The phone vibrates a lot while driving...a lot! Even in idle. Should do something about it...specially considering the expensive price.

I really wanted to love this mount.First the Pros -1. great location of phone2. magnet is strong3. easy to install4. easy to uninstall to returnCons -1. It shakes so bad that it is very distracting2. At $40, it is way too expensive, good quality, but not worth that amount even if it was stable.

Holds the phone nicely and very clean installation. I would like to see a second support point to stop the phone from vibrating but that might be over kill for most people. The only downside to this is the mount on the back of your phone prevents wireless charging.
