In addition, ivee helps you set reminders, wakes you up on time, and even fetches live Internet content (like weather, stocks, and news) that is relevant to you. ivee is an official Works with Nest partner, and will also control: Philips Hue bulbs, Belkin WeMo, Lowes Iris, Staples Connect, and Smart Things devices. Online Service Shutdown So It's Just A 12hr Format Alarm Clock Which Will Display The Wrong Day And Date
It is now pretty much useless and the replacement product never made it to market due to competition from other voice activated home automation gadgets (some investors it seems got some of their money back).A pity really as this one has a screen and only the very latest models from Amazon being launched soon feature that. This comes with an American style 2 pin mains adapter which is rated for UK Voltage.Yes, you can enter your home wifi details but it would seem the servers it wants to talk to are long gone so all it says when you ask a question is "I'm sorry I did not understand my servers response, please try again".To turn off the WiFi so you can manually set the clock hold down the big button on top (command button) for ten seconds, you will then be able to try the few offline commands and set the time (but not the date which will display wrong). You may even be able to get the alarm set, which I managed but no joy in activating the inbuilt FM radio (let alone tuning a channel). The backup battery also does not work or is not fitted (at least on my one).A few days ago when I got it the support website existed, but this has now gone.On the web, search for ivee sleek hack, it shows the gadget has a hidden micro usb port under one of the feet and a button inside, so if you like to dabble you may just want to take apart and try and make something useful out of it.

Rubbish device do not buy and do not invest
The Ivee Sleek feels like the worst thing I have bought in awhile. I got it from maplin in the UK and it has a US plug and only location saving for Canada and the US.The voice recognition is shocking. I may hold out for the Amazon echo or the Ubi.The commands feel clunky. Hello ivee command A. Hello ivee command B. I want to be able to say hello ivee command A oh and do command B too please thanks. You have to understand that with a device like this the voice command module has to be water tight. Can you imagine using a car with a steering wheel the size of a coin? That is in effect what you are asking us to do? Stop increasing the horsepower and changing the alloys just bloody increase the size of the steering wheel already!!!Stop adding things and start making it work!! All these supported devices only serves as bait around the trap!! Please don't get ensnared by this device which I can only compare to a room full of monkeys clanging on typewriters... eventually a few keystrokes will make sense. Also where the he'll is Venice, Nepal? It has started making up locations to feed back garbage to me... to say I am annoyed is an understatement!! You should have not been allowed to bring this to market at this early stage! I feel dupt.I was going to return this device but the owner offered me the new device for free when it releases to stay quiet I should have known it was so they could keep getting fillable people to fund the crowd funding page. Months have gone by and no new device and no more contact.

It will turn my Smartthings devices on and off. ...
It will turn my Smartthings devices on and off. It won't provide the weather and can't seem to understand city names. They show IFTTT and Harmony Logos on their web site, but when you get an account you find out they are still working on those integrations.

Ivee
Ivee is good for a few things, as alarm, or just a few informational things. Weather is a nice to know.

Really enjoying this product. Set up was easy and it works well even in low signal strength areas. The thermometer for room temperature does not work properly but all other functions are very reliable.

don't waste your money or time... Yet.
This product has an awful lot of potential, but best to wait... Voice recognition is TERRIBLE. Recognizes conmmands only about 50% of the time. The other times, errors or it's assumed command are laughable. Integration with other products is still alpha at best. It would be nice to be able to directly configure a whole bunch more too. Direct web interface? Unless you have infinite patience or want a terribly over-priced basic alarm clock, stay away.
