Beinia Valuker Women's Down Coat with Fur Hood with 90% Down Parka Puffer Jacket

UPDATE 11/1/18: This coat held up well last winter. I lived in a town center and walked everywhere to run errands--in wind, rain, sleet, fire and locusts. As it's starting to get chilly again, I've unpacked the coat and am looking forward to wearing it again this winter. Details below.*****12/14/18: I was looking for a longer down coat under $100 that is actually fitted and doesn't make me look like a marshmallow. I ordered a Small.My stats: Age: 30s | Height: 5’ 3” | Weight: 135lbs | Bra size: 34D | Waist: 29” | Hips: 39” | Shape: lean pearQuality - standard, good. No rips in the lining, snaps & zippers all worked well. Hood came slightly matted (top, center) where it was folded in half, but I expect it will fluff out with time.Warmth - lightweight as expected (after reading the reviews), but definitely warm enough (I live in the US mid-atlantic region). I have room to layer when the weather is especially cold. But it's NOT puffy!Sizing - THIS BRAND IMPROVED THEIR SIZING FOR 2018, and the Small that I ordered fits as expected. The length covers my butt. The shapely cut of the coat itself is awesome, and clearly the majority of buyers love this fit. If I'm being hyper critical, I wish it hugged my upper body a little more...but keep in mind I am much leaner up top than I am around the hips and butt, and with a coat I would rather deal with a tiny bit of room up top than have it too snug around my butt that I can't even sit down. I deal with this in clothing and outerwear all the time, so this is a me issue. That said, this is one of the better fitting down coats I've worn, so I'm really happy with it.Features - I wish the front two pockets were deeper and had the down fill, but it's not a deal breaker. Hood is nice and deep. As you can see in one of my photos, the fur can snap on and off.Hope my review helps you!

Just writing this bc I'm always grateful for the plus size reviewers on here. I'm 5' 4', 270 pounds, and typically wear a size 16/18 (Torrid/plus sizing: 2 or 3) and this 2x fits beautifully with enough space to wear a sweater underneath. Very warm, honestly the warmest coat I've ever owned. The fur is meh, it's super soft and looks nice, but there's a little bit of space between it and the hood that makes it pretty obviously detachable, but the coat looks fine without it. It's pretty long, it hits me just above the knee and I have to kind of wiggle it up to sit down in it. Overall, definitely worth the prize and true to size. Will try and update with a photo soon!

This coat in regular sizes runs small. In plus sizes, it runs big. This caused me to buy and return this coat three times. First of all, it is confusing that there is a XXL and a 2X. I am a size 18, and I bought the XXL 1st. The XXL fit beautifully on my arms and in length, but the coat wouldn’t come together at the zipper. (I wear varying sizes 16/18/20 at lane Bryant and typically can wear any XXL. So I decided if it runs very small, and the XXL and 2x are probably the same, that a 3x would do? Wrong. The 3x was enormous on me at my size 18. I returned it and got 2x, which I am wearing now as I type this review. It is definitely big and kind of bulky looking because of its size. Like, I could probably cross my arms and zip this coat around me. Which is the last thing a plus size woman wants. So, I have ordered the 1x and I finally believe that this will fit. With that being said, I would never have gone through this trouble if the coat wasn’t absolutely beautiful. I love the pockets, I love the zipper, the hood... the pockets are deep and can easily fit my phone and keys etc and are soft inside. The coat is very warm, and a flattering length. Fingers crossed that my 1x fits well. I will update. I hope that the seller isn’t upset that I have had to buy/return so much... but it’s worth it for a good fit in a nice coat! Again, regular sizes run small. Plus sizes run large!

I returned the medium because I found it to be too tight in the bust area, and shoulders. It is a very warm coat.A negative would be the zipper. Because the teeth are large, it makes zipping more difficult.

I love this coat!! I'm 5' 4 and a size 8/10. I ordered the medium and it fits perfectly. I wore it today with a cardigan underneath....and the HOOD!!! I love it. Just buy it. Do it. Now.

I'm 5'6" and 115lbs and an XS fits me perfectly. The company clearly did resizing for the 2017 season and this coat no longer runs small. I followed everyone's advice to order a size up only to find myself with two coats I had to return. If anything, the coat now runs a little large. I went to Eastern Europe with my XS and had enough room to wear a tank top, long sleeve shirt, and a sweater under my coat.This is a great coat for the price! It is a bit thin so I was worried I would be cold but with layering my clothes and the hood I was great. The coat is super cute and the fur is of great quality, as everyone says. Def buy this coat but BUY YOUR REG SIZE.
