Great for Microsoft Teams, although it has been a little buggy
Picture and sound quality has been great for Microsoft Teams calls during work. From my video preview, the image quality is excellent, and not had any issues being heard in meetings. The camera itself feels really good quality, and has a good mounting solution so it fits on my monitor perfectly. The camera was a bit larger than I was expecting, but that's my own fault! See the attached image as an indication, it's sitting on a 32" monitor. The cable is quite chunky, but has reasonable flex so was able to route it without too much issue.(Update: Teams hasn’t had any issues since end of November, so whatever was causing the problem has been fixed). Teams does not seem to like it sometimes, my voice can be distorted and "sounds like a robot", but a switch to the internal MacBook microphone and then back again fixes it. It's probably an MS Teams issue rather than the camera, but just noting anyway.

Crystal clear picture quality
So, I recently got my hands on the Logitech StreamCam, and I've got to say, it's been quite the game-changer for my content creation journey. Here's my take on this nifty webcam that's been living on my desk:Design and Build (4/5):First off, let's talk about the look. It's sleek and modern, which is right up my alley. Plus, the fact that you can easily mount it on a tripod or your monitor is super convenient. I love how it can switch between landscape and portrait mode, depending on my mood that day.Video Quality (4.5/5):Now, onto the good stuff – the video quality. Shooting at Full HD (1080p) and 60 FPS, it's like a dream come true. My videos have never looked this crisp and smooth. Oh, and the HDR feature? It makes my colors pop, even when I'm sitting in different lighting conditions.Auto-Focus and Face Tracking (4/5):You know how sometimes you can't sit still during a stream? Yeah, guilty. But the StreamCam's auto-focus and face tracking have my back. I can move around, and it still keeps me in perfect focus. It's like having my own camera crew.Low-Light Performance (3.5/5):Okay, here's the deal. It's fantastic in well-lit spaces, but in dimly lit rooms, it's not as star-studded. Sometimes, it gets a bit grainy, which can be a bummer. To fix that, I've added some extra lighting to my setup.Dual Microphones (4/5):When it comes to audio, the built-in dual microphones do a pretty good job. I mean, for most of my stuff, they work just fine. But when I'm feeling extra fancy, I still reach for my external mic for that studio-quality sound.Software Integration (4/5):The software side of things is smooth sailing. I can tweak settings, mess with exposure, and it plays super nice with my streaming software, like OBS and XSplit. It's user-friendly and just works.Price (3.5/5):Now, about the price. It's not the cheapest webcam out there, but honestly, it's worth every penny if you're serious about content creation. If you're on a tight budget, you might want to explore other options, though. In Conclusion:So there you have it, my take on the Logitech StreamCam. It's become my trusty sidekick for streaming and content creation. If you want to up your game and don't mind adding some lighting to your setup, this webcam is a solid choice. It's not the most budget-friendly, but hey, quality comes at a price, right?

Excellent webcam - used extensively and would recommend
Bought to replace the poor webcam on my laptop, as I am in video meetings a lot.Very easy to use, built in high quality mic means I don't need a headset and the picture quality is very good, maybe even excellent. Quite good enough for live web streaming although I don't use it for that.It works excellently with Teams, Zoom and WhatsApp, very reliable, typical Logitech product. Would highly recommend.

Very good and nice quality
A very good webcam for people that want to start streaming and good price/quality. Easy setup, just plug in and done. Just remember that it's usb-c and older motherboards/computers might not have connectivity.

Reasonable camera but if you own an Apple beware
This camera is frustrating. On the plus side the image quality is excellent. The unit is well made. The software is however dreadful. Or to put it another way for users of Apple silicon the software is not the expected capture app. Logitech hasn't ported the app to the silicon Apple it seems. Very surprising given M chips are not new. The Capture app thus relies on an emulator which crashes continually. Added to which Logitech's website is a car crash when you look for support with the usual chocolate teapot chatbot. Polished but little help. Both are not acceptable in 2024. The workaround according to Apple Forums is to use Logitune which does provide some functionality. But not all. There are better cameras out there. And more supportive manufacturers. I'd look elsewhere if I was shopping again. Very disappointed.
