I'm pleased with this clock, because it does exactly what I want it to do. Basically the two categories of complaints people make about this clock are: 1. it's (deceptively) small, and 2. challenging to program. All that's required to avoid being "deceived" by it's size is for the buyer to check the dimensions of the clock (provided in the photos) to ensure it's going to be the right size for the space intended. There are other versions of this clock available in larger sizes if you want bigger. I wanted something that wouldn't be too overpowering, this size was perfect for my space, and I did not want white or blue numerals in my living room. Regarding challenges to programming. I sat on my sofa, read the instructions, installed the batteries and easily set it to the way I wanted. If I had not read the instruction sheet, I might have gotten frustrated. I like the auto-dimming feature during the evening, and don't use the date/temp option, or the 3 alarms, and I have it set for steady on, as I don't want everyone clapping to see the time. After programming it, I walked across the room and plugged it in. The batteries are for backup use, so I don't expect I'll have to reprogram this clock very often, but even if I do, I've kept the instructions. I worry about people who find this process "challenging". I guess I'd say that if you can read a bus schedule you can probably handle programming this clock. I didn't score the battery rating, because I'm not really using them, and it's brand new-so of course the battery life is fine right now. But for us, it's a perfect little inconspicuous clock that fits our decor well and stops people from having to ask "what time is it?"

For the price, the clock looks great and is pretty functional. The electronic wood look is a cool concept and this version is a nice piece to have. The light is bright and it has alarms that can be set. My power cord is not 100% functional, it requires the cord to be bent in a certain way for the power to get through, but other than that it all seems fine. I alerted the manufacturer of the issue and they reached out to me, so I simply asked for a replacement cord, we'll see what happens with that. These things happen with products made like this to keep the cost down. My issue wouldn't disrupt me from another purchase if I needed another clock, for $10 it's a good value.Update- Fantastic customer service. They promptly took care of my issue, and instead of sending just an additional power cord, they sent me a whole new clock and said not to bother with sending back the other one. Great to know the company will have your back. I changed from 4 to 5 stars because of this, and it's still a veyr functional clock for the price

I like that it tells the time and temperature, and that the design is clean looking and unique. It drives me crazy that it displays the date and that I can't make it only display the time and temperature. First, once I've seen the date once on any particular day I don't need to see it again, my memory isn't that bad that a minute later I've forgotten the date. Second, it displaying the date screws your perception of time up immensely if you look at the clock at the wrong instant. For example on July tenth it displays 7 10 for the date. Every morning I need to leave for work at 7:25 to arrive on time. If it’s currently 7:24 and I glance at the clock and it happens to be displaying the date 7 10 I end up thinking I’ve still got 15 minutes before I have to leave, not 1 minute. This has made me late for work and other things several times. Now every time I want to look at the clock I am forced to stare at it for a few seconds to verify that it is displaying the time and not the date. It’s a pain! To give this product a 5 star rating I would like three on/off switches on the back of this clock for time, temperature, and date. That way I can turn set it so it only shows the temp, or only the time, or both the temp and time, or only the date, etc. This would make this a much more versatile product and it wouldn’t leave me staring at it wondering if it is showing me the date or time.

Too much effort to set this clock. It has settings for time, day, year, am/pm, dim, 24-hour vs 12 hour and something else. Which may seem nice, until the power goes out for more than 1 second, than you have to read the black-on-black controls to set each of those features. This clock is horribly designed in every way. Probably the worst Amazon purchase I ever made.

I bought the bamboo cube version of this clock and I like it very much; but, this one is the best. The display is the perfect brightness for a night stand clock at night--not too bright like the cube. It automatically dims after 7:00 PM and then brightens again in the morning. The LEDs are beautiful--they are more purple than blue--exactly like the picture. And, while it's not real wood, it sure looks real. This one is also bigger in size than the cube version and the LEDs are bigger also. It takes 4 batteries instead of three; but, you'll want to use the USB/AC adapter to not waste batteries. I highly recommend this clock. BTW, even though it was not available for "prime" shipment--it still came in less than a week from overseas. Has the craziest of instructions; but, you'll figure it out. If not, just leave me a question on here and I'll be happy to help you with programming it.

The clock is almost perfect except for one terrible feature. The LEDs on this clock are extra bright. Like crazy bright. There are 6 levels you can set the brightness at. The lowest setting works well for me at any time of the day. I wish it went lower at night but that's not really the issue. The clock auto dims from 6PM - 7AM. This means Every morning at 7am the clock resets to the brightest setting. It's so flippin' annoying to have to manually dim the clock EVERY SINGLE DAY! As far as I can tell there is no way to turn the feature off. I absolutely hate it.

Perfect to read from bed without having annoying large bright digits. Just wanted to tell time, not interested in alarm or date function. Tried finding one without alarm to no avail! I found setting time simple.

Really like but usb cord broke immediately. Going to order again and hope for the best.

Todo esta muy bien con este producto, excepto que el instructivo viene solo en chino y en ingles debería venir como tercer opción el español.

Sorry to say that I am not that happy with this clock as not only does it looks cheap I can not use it as intended on my bed side table. The blue LED it is too bright to have in the bedroom at night and too pale to read in the daylight. Should I have known?!Also, this clock is not 'wooden' at all, it is wrapped in a plastic covering that has a kind of wood like look & colour.

Les instructions sont vraiment mal traduites et croyez moi, vous aurez besoin des instructions pour programmer cette horloge! J'ai trouvé le commentaire d'une utilisatrice qui a traduit intégralement le manuel d'instruction et cela à grandement aidé! Je ne comprenait pas pourquoi le degré de luminosité du cadran changeait tout seul. Il a fallu que je lise la traduction de cette autre utilisatrice pour le comprendre. Une fois bien programmé, il fonctionne bien. En espérant que ça dure!

The clock display flickers rapidly. Seizure-inducing and super distracting when you're trying to sleep. Now I must jump through a bunch of hoops to be refunded for a deficient product. Very disappointed with Amazon and the experience overall.
