I really like this for my puppy when I first got her she wasn’t used to car rides and would only be comfortable with the car rides when she was on my lap but honestly having this dog car seat has her used to car rides the only complaint I have is that I wish it was more sturdy it’s a little flimsy but other then that I would recommend it

The product is okay. After having used it for a about a month my main complaint is that the product collapses. The sides are supposed to stay rigid with PVC pipe, but it slides out of its pockets. The PVC pockets have hook & loop to attach to the back & the seams are starting to rip. While the product was inexpensive, I didn't expect it to start coming apart after one month of use. From the picture, you can see there is a place that hooks around the headrest. The material is so smooth that it does not stay tightened in the plastic fastener. There is another fabric loop that is on the very front, which, when installed in the back seat, would allow you to hook it around the headrest of the front seat & tighten, allowing the seat to remain static. However, with this slick fabric, that doesn't happen. It keeps slipping, and the seat moves. There is no way to install it with the seat belt to make it secure. Since I'm a crafty person, I'm going to sew some hooks on the back so I can put the seat belt though the back, and allow the seat to stay safely in place. I'll more than likely change out the fabric hoops at the same time to make sure they stay tightened. Overall, I got this item to keep my dog safe while she was in the car with me. I'm going to spend more money to retrofit this one to make it safe. Spend a little extra to get a better one is my recommendation.

I bought 2 of these for my chihuahuas after a horrible incident on Christmas Eve. 😩 ‘Bad Mommy’ learned the hard way and immediately ordered car seats. These are well made and a real bargain for the money. They set up quickly and have a couple of strap options for securing them. I also pulled the car’s seat belt around the unit and clipped it for extra stability and it didn’t cave in. This particular bed isn’t huge so it’s just right for up to a 10 lb dog to lay down in with a blanket and not be rolling around. Best deal for the money and lots of peace of mind for Mommy.

This is my second bucket seat for my 20lb pup. I bought it on vacation because we rented a car last minute and my pup hates the car if she isn't in her seat. She loved it so much that I brought it home with me and replaced the one I had in my own car. Material is great, adjustable for all different size cars and seat configurations, and it's a sleek look. My 20lb terrier dachshund mix fits really well in it and seemed really comfortable during our drives.

I used this for my pup. He is a jack Russell terrier Chihuahua mix. (When I used the car seat he was 7 months old and 12 pounds) I bought it and used it for a road trip from northern Minnesota to Myrtle Beach South Carolina then on to Fort Myers Florida and then back to northern Minnesota. By the time we got to Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Which was approximately four days of use the sides were already crushed down. Unfortunately because there is no PVC pipes running vertically the sides crushed in defeating the purpose of keeping the pup in the actual car seat. I would’ve given it a much better score had it had vertical PVC pipes because I think then it would have held together. The other problem is the strap that is supposed to go around the bottom of the seat because I have a 2014 Town & Country minivan the way the seats are designed I could not use that tether. Luckily I got this on a deal and it was around 15 bucks when I bought it so not a whole lot of money lost. But very disappointed that it didn’t have any vertical structure. The other problem with it is the Leash. The adjustable leash strap that you would put connected to your puppies harness or collar to keep them in the seat moves from the position you set it at. the minute they pull on it slides loose. So that then allowed Him to get out of the seat crushing the sides defeating the entire purpose of having the car seat.

First impression... 2/5Set it up in the backseat, and sat my dog inside. Like many reviewers have pointed out, the straps do not stay once their are set to the proper length. This is not a secure “seat.” The only other issue I gave is the front of the box... there isn’t anything firm holding it up, so my dog can just put his paws on it and the front collapses a bit. It allows his paws to get trapped on the outside (because he’s tethered inside - which can also get unintentionally loose). He also has got tangled in all of the straps (which again, do not stay to the set length). For the 18.99 price I’m willing to overlook some of the faults and I’m going to give it a few days to test out before returning it.As of right now, not exactly happy with the purchase which is a shame because I like the look... if the straps would stay put, this would be a 4/5 hands down.**Update: Returned the item. For our dogs it just wasn’t a practical or well designed item (for our dogs). Perhaps if you have very well trained pups that do great in cars, then get it. Our dogs kept getting tangled in the collar strap if they tried to move their bodies, kept jumping out of the seat and getting stuck outside as the seat warped… anyway, wasn’t worth it for us.

Got this for my puppy and its worked great so far. Really quick and easy to install in the front seat, no hassle to move it if a passenger needs to sit there. Not sure I would use it in the back unless he gets more used to it but it must be comfortable because he has no problem falling right asleep! Not exactly the sturdiest (namely the clips/straps) but good for the price and very convenient.

This is my 3rd attempt at a decent car seat for my 18-year old Taco Terrier, and this one seems perfect. It's a well-made little car bed that is easy to put together and delivers excellent value for the price. I am not concerned about harnessing my dog when he is in the bed because he is not active enough to try to jump out, so I can't comment on the reliability of the dog harness. But a strong-enough adjustable strap holds the bed securely on the back seat by a simple wrap-around the head rest. The fabric also seems very easy to wipe down in the event of some car sickness, etc. *Warning that this type of bed should not be used on the front seat due to air bags.* But it's perfect on the back seat. And the wide open top works for my dog because every other type we tried (with smaller top and/or side openings) was problematic for him due to his hip dysplasia, as he has trouble bending at certain angles. With this one, with a nice blanket on the bottom, he can be carefully placed without discomfort. Well worth the money if you have a small calm dog, or if your dog is (like mine) elderly and somewhat disabled. Pleased with this purchase.
