You'd absolutely fall in love with this tri ply pan without even using it - such is its design and construction! Having used it for a long time now, I can vouch for its quality and how evenly and gradually instead of drastically it spreads heat - somewhat like a cast iron pan but faster. Wooden handle not only looks beautiful, it is long and thick enough to give you good grip to pick it up without fearing of dropping it! Food remains warm longer than it does in regular pans and the only pan to keep it warm longer is a cast iron one. Do NOT use metal scrubber while washing the pan or there will be lot of scratches and it'd look horrible soon. It is not thin by any measure and it is durable too.and this is a definitely a five stars product!

Good quality but sticks a lot

I recently purchased the Hawkins 26 cm Frying Pan and I have been thrilled with my purchase! Good quality.

Excellent finish. Light pan, but the wood finish of the handle gives a nice weighted feeling when holding. No fear of slipping or handle breaking. Size is good for cooking for two or three. Needs a little more oil compares to a non stick but lesser than a cast iron. Great for a quick prep and easy to clean, ot if lazy leave it to soak and clean later. Great quality for price paid. Solid build.

They say you can cook without oil but. It's not true .my first attempt of cooking without oil didn't go well. It got stuck . And I couldn't make pan cakes on it. But over all good prodict in this range.

It is thick and built well, but is a bit too heavy, making it not too convenient to use. The lid doesn't have a steam vent, resulting in the vapour condensing and seeping back into the food.

Worth ever paisey. Heavy material beautiful construction. Neat wooden handle. Best glass lid given ever with any utensils I've bought.
