Boye Crochet Set Alum Sz Notion, Hook sizes: 3.125-6.5 mm, US D-K, Assorted

Boye are some of my favorite hooks. The yarn glides over the hook smoothly and the head is just the right size to go through your stitches without getting caught or splitting the yarn. I have some of my mom's hooks that she passed on to me. They last forever. They are a great budget find and they come in so many fun colors.

These Boye crochet hooks are what I learned on more than 65 years ago. They are reliable, smooth to work with. I love them.

I only buy Boye. Don't like the ones with handles. I've been crocheting 65 years. This is a good size assortment.

The crochet hooks are comfortable in your hand and very great for newcomers. Have a granddaughter that I'm teaching to crochet and she's on the younger side meaning she's 12. She can hold on to them easily. They're great value. They're great weight and they're very soft and smooth on her fingers. And I like the fact they do them in colors other than just silver.

These hooks are very smooth, almost too smooth as they seem to slip off yarn easily.

I'm so glad I found this set of Boye hooks, as they truly are perfect for crocheting. I will buy the larger hooks individually to collect a complete set.

These are great, smooth, glide through the wool easily, no snags or dragging. Can crochet quickly if you add a cushion for each hook like I do. My favourite cushion is the Susan Bates striped ones. They make a very comfortable ergonomic hook combination for an enjoyable experience for extended hours of crochet! This hook set is an economic good quality set to actually enjoy the art. Note....the new hook sizes are off by .25. So you aren't getting the advertised ones. But you can make a swatch and adjust your hook size to fit your pattern, just google it, or Pinterest it, etc. These are very good quality for the price. Metal hooks glide better though the wool, faster and can take a lot of tough pressure of the toy making. I have used these type with a cushion for 20 years. I had tried some new ergonomic hooks for a few years, but am now coming back to this style because the ergonomic ones hurt my hands. I have tried three types of the very expensive hooks and they all hurt my hands. You won't be disappointed in these, they are a great beginner set, most of what you would need to fill out a complete set. The rest of the hooks that are missing are more speacialized sizes. You can buy as needed for specific projects, or adjust hook with your pattern. Thank you.

昔ながらのデザイン。鉤の形が良いせいか、編みやすい。Boye社のフックは、街中には売っていないし、持てて嬉しいです。もう少し大きなサイズも欲しいかな。
