I just got this belt and have used it about a handful of times already. I wanted it to use for deadlifts and squats. First impressions out of the package, the leather is great quality and I like the extra padded area on the back/lumbar. Based on the size chart, I'm a size Small. With a fabric tape measure, I measured 32 inches around (relaxed). I measured about an inch above my belly button where I'd wear the belt. The pictures I'm including are photos I took of the belt straight out of the package. Then one snapshot of the belt on my waist, basically trying it on for size. Later that day I used it for lifting and I ended up going in one more prong for a tighter fit. It was nicely holding and molding to me. I also included photos of the belt next to a standard tape measure. It does measure just slightly smaller than the size chart shows but it doesn't bother me since likely the leather will get more broken in I believe. But I think basing the size on the chart provided is appropriate. So far so good on this purchase. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!!

I have back issues and lifting heavy makes me nervous when I feel like my back could give out or cause me pain. I've been getting into lifting heavy again and the gym I go to has some belts but they all fit different so I decided to get one. I don't have a budget so for the price of this I was attracted to it and because it looks very well made. When I got it I could confirm that the material they make this with is very good and high quality so it's a great price for what you're getting.I used it right away and it felt very nice and comfortable. I had no issues whatsoever. I was really surprise how comfortable it is and it really braces you well. So I have been able to lift with more confidence knowing I'll be able to have better support.It's very nice and seriously it's the most comfortable belt I've worn. The ones at the gym weren't anywhere close to it and hey why not have your own belt when you go workout. It'll just be you and your own sweat and no one else to mess it up. I take care of my stuff and I see this lasting a long time. I'm very pleased to add this to my gym gear. The customer service is also very nice, they wanted to make sure I got my belt and how it is to make certain it is up to par. Having a company that cares and contacts you to make sure you're happy is a great sign to show you they're a company that really cares about what they make.

Read reviews and am pleased! Good product, good price! I like the thinner belts and am happy I bought this one. No need to break it in or wear it several times before I was comfortable. If you extremely thick, inflexible belts then this isn't the one for you. If you want one that has good support and straight out of the box comfort then give it a try.

Very good quality belt, been using this for a long time now, over 6 months. Use it everyday for weights and it is as good as new. The leather is strong and keeps your back firm while lifting weights. It is not very heavy and comes easily in my small gym bag.

This review would be 4 or 5 star.. However I purchased the belt that was sized up to 46 inch waist cause I'm 6'3 and 300lbs. I'm I guess a big dude. Well the belt would be lucky to fit someone with a 32 waist if that. I don't know if there was a mix up or this really was supposed to be an up to 46 inch waist but either way I wasted my money. The belt does look and feel of excellent quality but what am I to do? Wear it on my thigh?

The Gym Maniac weight lifting is the only belt you’re gonna use for all your training needs. I use mine for Leg day, & Back day. One of my favorite features is the back pad on the inside of the belt, it’s helps to both keep the belt in place when squatting and provides comfort. I would dare hit legs or back without it!

I've been using this belt for 3 months now. This belt has helped me keep and stay safe when it comes to lifting heavy weights at the gym. I feel a huge difference when I have it on and keeps my form on point. I ordered an X-large and definitely recommend following the the size chart because it fits me perfect.

Pure leather, very strong and well padded at the back. I bought Goldys one years ago. I thought of trying this and i love it. Did some squats with it and it was very comfortable. I highly recommend this without a doubt.
