Good, small-sized, brass (pittal) body
If you want to chop full sized betel nuts you might want to go for a bigger cutter. This is size 4 as mentioned on the body, good if you buy half-chopped supari or large piece supari pieces, BUT if you want to chop a whole nut, it's slightly difficult. Sharpness is good, made of brass (I think), joint looks strong.

Good Quality Item
Bought this for splitting pills and not as a betel nut cutter, as the pill splitter I bought last time did not break the medicine tablets into 2 equally or simply crushed the tablet.Well made, with steel cutting edge (came coated with a red paint to prevent rusting till it reaches you) which is sharp enough to split our pills neatly. Used several times and it still looks neat.
