This is a great book with a pragmatic approach to getting things done. You'll need discipline to work through the suggested techniques, but it you stick at it, you'll be very pleased you did!

I was forced to read this book by the director at my current workplace. Maybe "forced" is the wrong term to be using, but I selected this book from his library and was instructed to read it in a week. I did, and it broadened my perspective on what I can accomplish. Extreme Prioritization. Strategic Planning. The necessary steps for effective execution. It's all here. I simply bought it off Amazon the day I finished it because it HAD to be in my own personal library.When I started this book I didn't expect much. I dismissed it after the first couple chapters thinking along the terms of "this book is meant for more important people", but I was dead wrong. Once I started into the meat of it all, I couldn't take enough notes on how to be an effective planner/project leader.For someone who has only recently woken up from sleepwalking through life, this book was the foundation I needed in order to get thinking about what my purpose is and doing the one thing most people never do -- plan my life. I have been able to find my direction since reading this book, and using the planning methods laid out in it, I have created a sound 5 year plan for myself which I am driven to achieve due to an increase in awareness and a heightening of my own self-efficacy to limits beyond anything I could ever have imagined for myself.I guess to make an even longer story short, the only question I want to pose is, When was the last time you read a book that was able to CHANGE your perspective on life?

Very practical, simple and already applying these concepts in my project planning for my business as well as in everyday life.

Some ideas might be a bit radical for some, and it does assume that everyone works for an employer rather than being a business owner with employees, but overall I would recommend this book to everyone.
