Have bot many Mountain House products for prep planning. This is creamy, extra comfort food. Company has good reputation for good tasting, high quality products. Have many flavors for ease and for variety should I need to consume these.

On my recent backpacking trip, I decided to try the Mountain House Creamy Macaroni & Cheese, and it did not disappoint. After a long day on the trail, I was eager to refuel, and this meal was just what I needed. With no need for complicated cooking, I simply added hot water to the pouch and, in under 10 minutes, I had a warm, cheesy delight ready to eat.The macaroni noodles were perfectly cooked, and the creamy sauce had just the right amount of cheesiness to satisfy my cravings. It was so convenient to eat straight from the pouch, which meant no cleanup after a tiring day. Whether you're backpacking, camping, or just looking for a quick meal at home, this creamy mac and cheese is a must-try! I can definitely see it becoming a staple in my camping food supplies.

I live/work in China, and visited the U.S. this summer. I knew that I would be spending a long time in quarantine when I returned to China (with who knows what kind of food served in the hotel), so I bought a suitcase full of Mountain House survival food for the quarantine period (having asked my mom to try out some varieties for me first). The spaghetti and meat sauce was by far the best of the bunch--perfect noodles, meat was great, sauce very delicious. The mac and cheese was almost perfect, but the noodles had a styrofoam like texture. Not horrible by any means, I enjoyed the meal immensely (especially considering my conditions), but could have been better. Mountain House is a great company with great products.

These are nice for the trail. Use them while dual sporting. Easy to pace and fast pretty good.

I have heard good things about this flavor of mountain house and have enjoyed other flavors of mountain House foods. I brought two of these on my camping trip, the first one I followed the instructions exactly with the right amount of water. However, the pasta came out so soupy, additionally, the noodles were not fully cooked, and I was really disappointed by the flavor. I did not taste authentic at all. The next day I tried again with the next packet, made sure to add a little less water, so it would be less soupy, that helped the flavor a little bit, but I was still disappointed with how the noodles were cooked after using boiling water and the overall flavor and cheese they use could definitely be improved a lot. On my next camping trip. I am considering bringing his mac & cheese instead as I think it would be almost the same effort to cook and it would taste so much better.

Love mountain house freeze dried food. Always top quality and great for camping or prepping! Highly recommend this product. We have all of their different choices of meals.
