Bead fusions have been all the creative rage for my 3 & 5 year old BOYS! When they need to do something with their hands and stay busy, but I am not available, these are such a fun activity for for them. They love to use the patterns, something many other sets dont have, it becomes much more functional for them to have the guides vs me having to help them create every piece. Great value for everything included & high quality beads that melt easily with the iron! They love all the colors - we will definitely purchase more of these!

The only reason why I'm giving this a 4 star, is because it said on the box it came with its own mini steam iron. Other than that, this is an amazing product and it is so cute! It will definitely take some trial and error, but it is worth it's price!

These beads are great. They hold up fine to Perler (I actually like them better), and work as you would expect. I love a kit that separates by colors, it makes projects so much easier for me and the older kids I've had working on fuse beads. Unless you have very little kids, you want them separated by color (my 5-year old is just at the age it starts being nice, but my 3-year old did better with a shaped pegboard and a mixed bucket of colors). The various pegboards are nice and the tweezer tool is very helpful and has held up well. The particular set I picked doesn't include an iron, which is fine for me since I already have one, but I got the set with the little iron for my niece and she has used it successfully for a number of her projects.

I decided to get into making perlers and decided to go with this kit. It is the perfect kit for beginners and advanced users. It comes with everything you need to get started. I have already made 2 items and they are very sturdy after melting.

This is a beautifully designed kit. The best part is that the beads, which come in 36 colors, are sorted in a plastic bin. The plastic tweezers are perfectly sized and work very well (I'd never tried using tweezers with the beads previously). There are other accessories, too, like key chain rings to turn the fused creations into useful gifts. The booklet has many designs, and the molds stand up very well to the iron. I was so impressed with this product! Hours of fun with my granddaughter.
