I'm an IT professional and I design and build networks and part of my work. I've worked with many products from many different companies. Based on my own experience here are my comments: EnGenius is a trash company that makes trash products. They lie about their products and their tech support is also dishonest. It seems clear they are all about making the cheapest junk they think they can sell, over-hyping the marketing, then blaming the customer when their stuff does not work right. That has been my experience and what I have observed others experience. I will never buy anything from companies like EnGenius or Cisco or HP or Dell that behave in such ways as this. EnGenius is one of the worst companies I have ever had any experience with. Cisco is also in that group. HP and Dell are simply corrupt and rotten to the core, so I don't do business with any of these companies. There are many other options available on the market and many of them are superior to these companies.
